Great in person, not so great by delivery.
Kind people, delicious food, and fair prices. I have never been disappointed when I go eat in at the restaurant and bring new people to try it all the time.
However when I ordered the BOGO chicken fajita arepa combo for myself and a friend on uber eats, all 4 arepas had 1 small piece of shredded chicken and 2 small grilled onions and peppers.. practically empty. I felt totally ripped off.
I also bit into something that hurt my teeth in their slaw (also delivery). If there weren’t snacks in the house that night we would have gone to bed hungry. 🙁
I’ll come back in person any day, but probably won’t be ordering delivery from here again. They really are nice people and the food is very good, but the food is made completely different when you’re standing there watching verses when you have to trust them to send it to you right. I hope things change!

I ordered the grilled chicken combo and it’s supposed to come with a sweet tea. Mind you I ordered this by door dash delivery. The restaurant is responsible to make sure the door dasher has my entire order. I called the restaurant and I explained to the young lady who answered the phone that they forgot my drink. The audacity of this young lady asking me will I be coming back for the drink. I told her I will not be coming back there because it’s their responsibility to make sure my order was complete. I just told her I will never order form this restaurant ever again. She should have had a manager either comp me on my next order or call door dash and send me my drink since I am at work and I can not leave. Oh well good written Guasaca the food is good but the service sucks . Have a fabulous life.

My food was ordered through doordash. My girlfriend is picky and you messed up our order. You put things I ordered on my bowl into hers and vice versa, it was all mixed up and she didn’t want to eat her bowl. Doordash only gave me 5 dollars back so I was pretty upset when I made this review. Ill still never order delivery from here again, you have ruined it for me. I talked up this place to my girl and then you messed up our order. I think the one star stands, Im not a rich person by any means and ordering delivery is a treat that I dont often indulge in, so messing up my food was super disappointing.

The arepas were amazing. I got the signature shredded beef and the avocado chicken. My wife got the signature shredded chicken and signature salmon. I will absolutely be coming back, probably many times. The arepas are a great lunch size, and a reasonable price for the amount of food.

I’m a little torn on this review…the vegetarian arepa was quite good. Great flavor, even though the presentation was rather sloppy compared to some of the other pictures I’ve seen. The arepa itself was okay, compared to others that I’ve had – it lacked some structure.
However, the salad/bowl was a different story. Everything looked okay but it was sweet. I’m not sure what was going on, are they trying to appease an American pallet? To be frank, I could have ordered something very similar at Chipotle (minus plantains) and the flavor would have been more savory – or put another way, I was expecting dark chocolate and got milk chocolate. Even while writing this review I can’t help to think how odd and disappointing it was, especially when the arepa started things off in the right direction.
Service was friendly and fast, no bad remarks.

I love Guasaca but this store specifically seems to struggle when it comes to DoorDash orders. This is the 2nd occasion something hasn’t been right with my order from this location. This time they put this nasty white sauce all over my bowl when the instructions specifically requested the GREEN cilantro sauce. I am not a picky eater but I specifically have a very low tolerance for ranch and am unable to finish this bowl. So so disappointed because I was craving this bad
