They charged me over $12 for a cereal bowl of salad. I asked if they included the weight of the bowl too in the price but the only answer I got was that’s considered a “large” salad. I asked for a receipt but they never provide any. Something is very wrong. They have not answered my review for their review system.

What a nice treat for a vacationing retiree and his wife passing through such a deserted part of the country. Great food, incredibly reasonable prices, and the nice company of young military people sharing the very large dining room. In my military career which began in the 70s, I never experienced any military chow hall like this. This dining facility definitely does it right!

Best salad bar…definitely needs to expand and be bigger in order offer more healthy options. Most of the base eats there.

Good food and clean. I eat there about every day. Staff is helpful and friendly. One of the better chow halls I think. Can’t beat a chicken wrap and fries for $2.25. Especially seasoned waffle fries. Plus the hot food is pretty good.
The only bad part is if you are looking to eat healthy. 5.35 for a salad is a bit rough. Anything on the healthy side is double the price of the stuff that they recommend to “eat in moderation”.

I’m sure it depends when you go. I’ve never had a bad meal there, but it also isn’t a five star rating. It is your typical Air Force Dining Facility. Midnight Chow definitely has my favorite crew working though.

This DFAC is better than most other ones I’ve been to, so most of the time the food isn’t bad in the main line. Sandwiches and junk food line are always good. The sandwich line is usually pretty long compared to the other lines.
