I went there for the first time in ALL the years I lived in Union City for some tacos dorados y pupusa and let me tell you THE BEST I ever eaten.. not greasy , grate taste, fresh and amazing portion.. definitely will be coming back

My daughter went with her friends to eat and they overcharge each about $4 extra that don’t reflect the prices, they refuse to provide receipts as is their customer’s right and a kid who was in charge of the check gave them an attitude as he was doing them a favor! They questioned was each of them have an overcharged of $4 and they say “taxes” even when they did the math it wasn’t adding up, the owner seems very nice and polite providing the food but who’s to know who’s in charge here, if some kids can’t go to eat without been robbed then we failing as society!

Incredible sopa de res. Pricey but consider that it will feed 2. Plenty of beef, veggies, and the broth was super delicious. Highly recommend when you need ‘una sopa con sustancia’ to bring you back to life!

I was with my cousin but since I didn’t have cash they said I can pay with Zelle and when it was time to pay it was $10 and they lady gave me the wrong number so I sent the $10 to some random person and before I sent the money I asked the lady if it was the right number and she said yes but then after she said she actually forgot the number so she had to get a piece a paper that had the actual phone number and she told me the number of the actual number so I sent $10 so in total I wasted $20 and yes I WASTED $10 because it was horrible service like how do you get the wrong phone number when I literally asked if it was the right number and all she said was sorry.Sorry isn’t going to fix it but before any of that happened she called someone and said if they got the money I sent and they said no but after everything happened she called the person and said they gave the person that she called is dad’s phone number to me I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to cause any problems or anything but if it was your dad’s phone number then why do I have to send the money to you again!

Any time I come to jersey, I make sure to stop by and indulge in some of the best Salvadorian cuisines. If you like Latin food then you’ll love it here. My favorite is the Carne Asada. Never have I come across such tender and well marinated steak. I was literally able to cut it with a butter knife! The portions are large and the prices are low. As far as seating goes, well its a bit snug. But its always worth the visit. My family and I always leave with a full belly and a smile on our face. <3

The horchata was bomb! But the pupusas were very greasy (didn’t taste that good, but it wasn’t bad either) the pupusas de queso was very good just again too greasy & the tamales de elote were ok too (I’ve had better). I wish the tamales were blended better because I was eating whole pieces of kernel from my tamales. The service was great though.

I am never buying from here again!! I ordered 8 pupusas revueltas and when I picked it up the lady was on the phone and I told her I was there for my pickup and told her it was 8 pupusas revueltas. I grabbed the bag, paid, and left. I get to work and open up the order and it was not what I had ordered. I called the place and she said she had mixed up the orders and she would replace the order for the next day. Next day I went to get them and she had the NERVE TO ASK ME FOR THE PREVIOUS ORDER SHE SCREWED UP ON! After telling her I disposed of it since it was already TOUCHED, she had the nerve to say next time to bring it back! How disgusting!

They have good food but need to update their hours of operations, multiple times I’ve had issues where they’ve closed earlier than advertised. Had a young man pick up the phone only to then hang up on me, then answer with attitude when i called back. It’s highly disappointing considering its a small family owned restaurant with good food.
