Cute restaurant with an updated vibe. My skinny margarita was yummy (added jalapeños), and other party members liked their drinks. My veggie fajita with vegan chorizo was really delicious. It wasn’t sizzling when delivered to the table, but that was the only disappointment other than needing to add some hot sauce. The beans, rice, avocado, lettuce, sour cream side portions were generous. Other members were happy with their birra tacos and other selections. The server was friendly and attentive.

The staff there was very friendly! Value for the money wasn’t there for me though unfortunately. My daquiri was so weak, couldn’t taste the alcohol at all, and the pork carnitas plate was about 1/3 fat chunks. I filled the salsa bowl with fat just getting to the good meat. Queso dip was $8, I’ve never paid that much anywhere else. Great people, not great price for the food though. Also music was very loud.

We went with a large party. They did great getting us seated in a timely manner. They don’t take reservations. Chips and salsa were good but even better if you request some hot salsa. The food is good. Good portion sizes. I would skip the margaritas. Previously, the house margarita was not good so I tried the handmade margarita this time. Still not good. Maybe if you would try something other than the traditional lime margarita it would be better? New location is nice!

We were sat, served and finished with our meal in under an hour. We both ordered a margarona( margarita with a corona floater) and they were delicious! The staff was very informative and polite. We met a bus guy on his first day and e was very nice and quick at his job. We will definitely be going back as much as possible!

My only issue is that I haven’t tried this place sooner!
Everything was great. The service and the food. The atmosphere of the place was great too. Comfortable dining area made for a nice relaxing dinner.
I tried a few things….
The Birria tacos. Which came with 3. I went with the corn tortillas and also opted to leave the cilantro off. These were some of the best tacos I have ever had. The beef was full of flavor and was just perfect!
Tried Chiles Pablanos as well. Again, it was great. I love a good pablano, and these were spot on. The cheese, the sauce…cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of heat.
We also tried the Mecixan Elote. This was pretty good, too. The corn was sweet, the mayo wasn’t overbearing, and the cheese topped it all off. Each bite has a cheesy, sweet goodness to it.
I can’t wait to go back and try some different items. We will also be trying their multiple flavors of margaritas. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who is looking for a great place to eat!

We ate there for the 1st time on Wednesday. It was not busy, since we got around 4:30. We were seated right away & given chips, salsa, & a menu but waited awhile for a server to come. When the server finally came, he just brought us “water” (never asking “what” we wanted to drink) & he then took our order. We got our food pretty fast, nice & hot & very good. I wanted to order a side of sour cream after I started eating, but the server never came back to check on us. I looked around & saw all the other servers busy with their tables and finally spotted our server in the other room at the “counter where you pay” on his phone . He never checked on us & by the time he did come, it was to give the check. I also asked for a “fill up on my water” even tho I was done eating. Then we had to wait forever for him to come back, I saw him on his stupid phone again!!! All the other servers were really hustling & were showing good “customer service” out guy “sucked”, even tho the food was good, we probably “won’t be back”

Great ingredients make some great food! Enjoyed the barbacoa torta. It was a nice surprise. The service was also great. The only thing that wasn’t great is that house margarita was not very strong. The fried ice cream with honey was also delicious.

Hot, fast tex/Mex in downtown BG. Familiar menu with kids options, daily specials, and complimentary chips with salsa. Good drinks, good food, and quick service makes this our go-to on dinner trips to Bowling Green.
