The restaurant was clean and the staff was great. I have tried just about every mexican food restaurant in E. Texas and this place is right there with the best of them. Will definitely be going back.

Was not a fan. The food was very bland. I tried ordering two different items that was on the menu but they were out. So I settled on the 5 street tacos with carnida. The tortillas were hard and the meat tasted like it was boiled in plain water. We ordered the taquitos for my daughter and it was just frozen taquitos deep-fried and broken in half to make 12. Both I thought were going to be normal sized meals but they were minis I get it but it wasn’t specified on the menu so that kinda irked me. The cheese sauce tasted like watered down nacho cheese. I did like the mild sauce they served and after I drowned my tacos in the sauce it was edible. My husband liked the green hot sauce as it was a bit more spicy , he ordered the carnida torta he said it was pretty good although he did load it down with hotsauce as well. I tried a piece of his avocado that and the onions , cilantro and tomatoes tasted fresh and yummy. The soda was on point and my daughter enjoyed the little ice. It wasn’t busy and the staff were all nice so there’s that. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for our food to arrive.

Locally owned Hometown restaurant. The place is neat and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is cooked fresh and delivered to your table. The prices are very reasonable. Good Tex Mex. My favorite meal is the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Street side parking on the side and in the front of the building.

Ok. Reading some of these reviews and woooooow. Lol.
Service was good and very friendly. Fast with our drinks. Great unsweetened tea.
I had the pick 2 custom lunch. Burrito and tamale. The food is not bad. Just very standard. Perhaps purchased canned/pre prepared and packaged type of thing. My wife had a tamale and puffed taco. Also very ‘standard ‘. But, not bad. Maybe ‘cafeteria food’ is a better description.
Pricing was right on. All in, the bill was $19.
Very cool historical building located ‘downtown ‘. Good parking situation going on.
If you’re looking for ‘great’ Tex Mex, maybe look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a good standard meal at a good price. This is your place.
Only REAL downside was the men’s bathroom is kinda rough. But, my wife said the women’s bathroom, including a changing station was very clean.

Excellent Tex-Mex with good service and reasonable prices. Check out the Friday night Fajitas for $ 9.95, or the trip of enchiladas. The chips with red or green sauce are just right.

lol probably doesn’t get much worse than this when it comes to Mexican cuisine. That’s the ‘Beef Nachos Supreme’ large order in the pic. lol rough is putting it kindly.

Food is almost like it is microwaved. We ordered half nachos for the kiddo and it’s literally 8 chips with shredded cheese cooked to much for 8.00. A dollar a chip. Kiddo couldn’t eat. Not impressed at all. First and last time there.

Staff is super friendly but the food is not very good. It seemed to be microwaved and the ground beef tasted very bland. Most of the lights in the ceiling are burnt out and where the booth table meets the wall was very dirty. It’s a great location and in a historic building it could be so much better.

Good food, good service, nice family restaurant. Good menu. We had beef enchiladas with rice and beans and the beef fajita plate. Chips and salsa were good too. Saw beer and maybe wine based margaritas but no cocktails.
