Here is the recipe for a great night. 2 margaritas and the carne asada fries. It was amazing! The only reason I gave service 4 stars was because they misunderstood my orders twice and I tried to correct and they still messed up but it was still very good and the staff was very nice. Enjoy!!

What stood out to me the most about this restaurant was the incredible vibe—it made the whole experience fun and exciting. While the space is tightly packed with tables and there wasn’t anything particularly unique going on, the atmosphere was lively and full of energy. Despite it being a weekday, the place was full, and everyone seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves.

The food took a bit longer than usual, but it was clear everything was made fresh. We ordered the Mother’s Mole and Arroz con Pollo. The mole was okay, but the Arroz con Pollo was absolutely delicious. My daughter gave their queso a thumbs up, and I really enjoyed their salsa.

The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Prices were very reasonable—actually much lower than what you’d expect at similar spots. Parking is available, though not much directly in front of the restaurant, so you may need to walk a bit.

The only minor issue was that we didn’t get enough napkins at the table, but honestly, we were having such a great time that it didn’t really matter.

Overall, I’d definitely go back—if not just for the food, then certainly for the fun and vibrant atmosphere.

I absolutely love the Mexican Street Corn Fries. They are my go to and thats what I get every time we go…without cilantro because gross lol and a sweet tea! I also love that the one waiter remembers that I hate cilantro when I order them.

Three words. Quesa Birra Tacos. I’ve been looking a place to fill the void of my favorite taco place and I think I may have found it. I got 3 different street tacos to try and the quesa birra ones (far right) were excellent (with a little bit of sour cream) the chicken tinga (far left) were really good too. I wasn’t a big fan of the carnitas ones though. The salsa here is spicy but really flavorful. My friend got the el pastor taco and said it was really good. Prices are decent $4-5 dollars per taco depending on which one you get. The sour cream is $1 for a small 2oz cup; that’s a bit steep in my opinion, but regardless we’ll be back. Service was good. The place is on the small side but nice.

This was easily the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Not a single complaint.

If I were to warn anyone the cook seems too really like his garlic so if you’re into that this is the place for you.

I can’t even describe how perfect the food was.

10/10 get the Coal Miner Burrito
Def don’t miss out on the Birria

Not your Cookie Cutter Mexican Restaurant…

I was drawn to Nitro to try Guadalajara Modern Mexican because their menu was different from most places. Lots of street tacos, bira, and other authentic items. I came with my heart set on tamales but they had been removed from the menu. I ordered a taco a pastor which was great and Mom’s Mole which was different from every other mole I’ve ever had. It was light in color and the flavor was not complex at all. The service was excellent and the margarita was strong. If I find myself back in nitro I’ll try a different menu item and maybe raise my score.

I think you should try GMM but look to the some other dishes.

I’m usually picky with onions, but here I could eat them and not have any problems. I got the Birria Grilled Cheese and honestly I would just get this every time but the menu is so diverse. I’ve got to come back and try more
