We just happened to stumble upon this place while driving through town. The food was about average priced but the servings were huge and the food tasted really good. Out server did a good job also. We will definitely revisit the restaurant in the future.

Real authentic Mexican restaurant
Excellent food and excellent atmosphere! love all of the bright colorful decor and the tables with chairs Excellent food usually isn’t cheap, the price is fair. Bathrooms could be better, bigger, or newer to hold more than 1 person.
I came here Friday at lunch time and they still had plenty of seating, fresh food and chips, quick food as well for a constructuon crew table of 6!

Aurelia is one of the best servers(id give her a raise) in the restaurant, staffs always happy and friendly, music is atmospheric, and the food exceptional! Always tip nice! They deserve it.

Hankering for some home cooked Mexican deliciousness? This is the place for you! Friendly staff and boy howdy! The service was amazingly fast. The food was hot and tasty and the lunch specials were abundant and affordable. Our waitress was super friendly, even running out when I’d forgotten my leftovers. Highly recommend and we’ll be back next time we travel through here.

Initially, I was very excited after reading up on some of the menu items.
I really liked the way the place was decorated and the colourful furnishings.
I started losing my enthusiasm, starting my experience with hard brittle, stale tasting chips.
I was told they actually made the chips from scratch daily, so according to him, they were fresh.
The salsa was very generic tasting, so moving on.
I ordered off their specialty section.
Puerto Vallarta Platter
Crab meat, prawns, and chicken sautéed in wine, then topped with Monterey jack cheddar cheese and mushrooms, then baked. Served with Mexican rice and refried beans or cholesterol-free “De la olla” and your choice of flour or corn tortillas.
$18.95 online, actual price 19.95.
It was ok. I do wish they would
placed the cold items on a separate plate and not on the blazing hot plate the main dish came on.
I’m not really a fan of hot sour cream, Gaucamole, lettuce, and what should have been some pico de gallo.
Anyway, overall, great atmosphere due to all the decorations etc.. food was average.
Unfortunately, since I was the only customer in the restaurant for the majority of time, I was there. They didn’t feel the need to check in on me.
It was only after 3 other tables fill up that I was finally able to flag someone down for my first and only refill for Pepsi and salsa.
I don’t believe there is a reason to return to this one. The food at local truckstops restaurant is actually pretty good.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant with the vibrant colors and artwork within the seating. The chips and salsa you receive before your meal are almost always nice and warm. The portions are large for a very affordable price. I have never left there not feeling full. Very tasty food and good service. I didn’t like Mexican food before eating here and now, Guadalajara is one of my favorite restaurants in Watertown.

Twenty years ago, a really great place to eat and staff was attentive. Food was authentic and I highly recommended. Went there a year ago and it was horrible. Instead of authentic salsa, it tasted like Pace from a jar with a ton of cilantro added. The sauce on the beef enchiladas tasted like it was a very bad canned sauce, beans weren’t fresh and the rice tasted like they threw a tomato cube in and called it good. Wait staff was around a corner on their phones, so no drink refills.
