Guadalajara Grill is an explosion of colours and decorations and fountains and lights. It is bordering on sensory overload but it helps you quickly transport yourself away from a midwest strip mall to a Disneyfied Mexico.
The food is pretty typical Mexican restaurant food at pretty typical prices but be warned, the cocktails are really expensive. I had the huevos con chorizo which was sizeable and tasty but not as spicy as I expected chorizo to be. The Horchata drink was a bit on the watered down side.
The service was good, attentive and the server spoke some English. Food was delivered quite quickly so no complaints on that front.
The restaurant is surprisingly expansive (it looked small from the outside) and quite popular.
Pro Tip
The restrooms are clean but strangely the stall doors are pretty short, making you feel a bit exposed. If that seems uncomfortable to you, you might want to take care of your restroom needs elsewhere.
Be sure to look for the fake Disney decorations (with knock-off Pinocchio)

The inside of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. I love the detail and the painting. The staff is also always very kind and quick. Their takeout is phenomenal as well. They always stuff the bag all the way to the top with chips! I went in there today to pick up my order and it wasn’t quite finished yet so they gave me a free drink, Very class people love it there. BEST chips and queso!! edit- would just like to say I was definitely not expecting anything free from the wait so neither should you!! they’re worth it and i just wanted to give kudos for the thoughtfulness.

We dropped in here for dinner on Saturday night and it was simply awesome. The food was fantastic and I gotta say this funky place has all kinds of crazy brightly colored decor which just kind of goes with the theme of Tex-Mex.
Something which is so yummy and delicious that your taste buds will thank you for was the strawberry lemonade. Lemonade such a cool and refreshing drink you’ll love it because it’s strawberry lemonade.
But seriously this place is got some funky funky to it by that I mean it’s not every day that you’re going to see a water fountain right in the lobby kind of cool unexpected and yet delightfully entertaining.
Everything on the menu looks great prices seem reasonable service is fast in fact I think our food ride within three minutes of ordering it.
I gotta get this please double thumbs up if I were an ape I give it for thumbs up using my feet too it’s just that good.

The hostess was not very friendly but the waiter we had was wonderful. It was slightly busy, but that did not stop them from bringing us everything we asked for fast. We were surprised at how fast they were! The food was delicious. I had the shrimp chimichanga. I should have asked for chicken as it was mostly vegetables with a few shrimps. It was still very good, though. My husband ordered the nachos with shrimp, steak, and chicken, and he loved every bit of it.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and aesthetic. I especially loved the fountain; it reminded me of being at a plaza in Mexico. The food was delicious and everything was seasoned to perfection. The meat was so tender, marinated to perfection, and cut easily with a fork. The service was quick and so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back.

First off kudos to the atmosphere it was trying the staff wasn’t friendly but wasn’t rude. I spent over $40 got an adult fajita steak and the kids fajita steak both of which was subpar.
For myself, I ordered a shredded chicken quesadilla with rice and pico. What I got was a grilled soft taco not cut stuffed with un shredded chicken no cheese nor seasoning very soggy by far. One of the worst quesadillas I have had in the city of Indianapolis.

I am from St. Louis.. went here for the 1st time , I must say the decor is really awesome but my food was trash. I had the fish taco black beans and rice. The fish was so soft and sloppy made.. it was like baby food the white rice was so very sticky no flavor to it or the beans! I hate when my food is not right! Top it off my margarita didn’t have any Tequila in it at all just a glass of and frozen ice and sugar!
