This place is the bomb. Great local spot that serves good food in a causal atmosphere. The team treats you like family. The ajillo shrimp and blackened tuna taco are my go to order and never disappoint. Don’t skip on the rice and beans, great flavor. Thanks for being a great local seafood joint! Also great spot for people with gluten free and dairy free options.

Grumpy Goat was lovely! I ordered three tacos: baja fish (center), goat cheese (right), and carnitas (not pictured). I accidentally received a carne asada taco (left) instead of carnitas, but the waitress was super kind and corrected the order immediately. The tacos were all amazing, and the mahi mahi taco and carnitas taco are must-haves if you visit. The goat cheese taco was good, it was just a bit much for me – I loved the jicama slaw and honey-jalapeno drizzle, though!

Food was great! Shrimp, blackened tuna, and fish tacos plus beans, rice, and loco corn, and shrimp ceviche and queso, salsa and guacamole trio with chips. All was awesome. Prices for food, cocktails and beer were reasonable too. We’ll be back.

Ate here again for the first time in a long time. I have to say the food seems to be much better since the last time I came in several years ago. I had the Baja fish, ajillo shrimp (sp?) and the carne asada. The flavor was good on all of them that I tried. The carne asada maybe could’ve been cooked a little less but it was still tasty. These tacos are serious, they aren’t street tacos. Good taste and value.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could. The food was just ok. The staff was super friendly though and the prices were reasonable. We sampled the BLT, nachos, fries, shrimp taco, and carnitas tacos. The tacos were decent tasting and had corn tortillas. The nachos with chicken were pretty bland and the chicken reminded me of canned chicken(I guess the smell) the BLT and the fries were good enough for a return visit.

Ended up here by accident. New to the area and found it on the way to the fish camp down the street. Even though it was relatively empty it took a few minutes to be noticed at the hostess stand. Promptly seated we ordered the three amigos ( something like that). Chips with Salsa, Guac and Queso. Particularly enjoyed the salsa. Tasted like fresh sweet tomatoes. We ordered about nine different tacos for three people. Carnitas, chicken, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, ground beef, steak to name a few. The shrimp Po boy taco, the grilled shrimp and the pork taco were standouts. Yook about 35 min after we finished our chips for dinner to arrive. We wondered for a short time if they order was forgotten. Still five stars for food and our server.

Gotten the blackened tuna that says it’s seared rare but both times it’s way over cooked even when we ask for it to be seared rare. Loco corn is good and Brussels. Tacos all need work wouldn’t recommend. Won’t be coming back.

Great spot in Charleston for some Tex Mex food. The goat cheese tacos are to die for, but the carne asada and fish tacos are amazing as well. Staff is SUPER friendly and awesome, you always feel like you’re part of the family here. Ask for bartender Justin and tell him Fred sent you!
