So it used to be a shawerma place first but now it’s owned by a Afghan family who still carries shawerma and garlic sauce , which i found much better then the previous shawerma. We have been there twice already and both the times, we have loved it. The owner is a very nice person who truly takes care of his customers. The food is absolutely delicious! Their best part is their sauces! Their both green, white and red sauces are so tasty! You will have to have the sauce in every bite! They serve twice kinds of rice and both the rice tastes so good and so different from each other. Very tasty. We had the platter and chicken kabab and chicken shawerma and everything was very tasty! Its located in Fairfax and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

I had the gyro platter and the chicken kebab platter, and both were amazing! The lunch special with a free drink is such a great deal—you really can’t beat that price. The food is full of delicious flavor, and the portions are generous, which makes it perfect for students near George Mason University. The customer service is excellent; the owners and employees are very kind and welcoming. The restaurant is also very clean and inviting. Definitely one of the best spots for a tasty and affordable meal in the area!

When we first pulled up to this place, it honestly looked so mediocre that we didn’t even want to go in. But we didn’t judge it by the exterior — we decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad we did!
I’ve eaten all over the United States, and as Afghan cuisine, this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were incredible and truly authentic.
The owner is an amazing person — such a genuine and hardworking small business owner.
Don’t judge this place by how it looks from the outside.
Highly recommend — definitely worth stopping in!

The food here is absolutely incredible, and the owner’s kindness and generosity make the experience even better! The kabobs were bursting with flavor, the naan was freshly made, and the rice was perfectly cooked. But the true star of the show for me was the white sauce—rich, balanced, and the hint of dill took it to another level. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fresh, flavorful food.

I’d give this place 4 stars. Overall, the food was good, and the chickpeas were especially tasty.
The chicken was decent — the pieces were quite large and juicy, but it felt like it was missing that open-flame / charcoal-grilled flavor, the kind you get when meat is cooked over real fire. The rice wasn’t cooked the way I prefer and had a more sticky, slightly overcooked texture, and it seems like they sometimes use a different type of rice, which affects consistency. I also would have preferred grilled tomatoes instead of only fresh vegetables.
Not a bad place at all — just a few details that could be improved. With better consistency and a stronger grilled flavor, this could easily be even better.

The food is all so amazing, it is clear that they know what they are doing and everything seems so clean (you can see into the entire kitchen). Also they are very generous with their portions and kindness. Everything is packed with flavor and great quality. Even the fries are so good, they are perfectly seasoned and crunchy and not oily at all. The food is very fresh and you don’t feel heavy after eating it, unlike most shawarma places!

Their bread is absolutely delicious—I couldn’t stop eating it!
I tried both the chicken kabob (juicy chunks) and the chicken koobideh (tender ground chicken skewers), and both were fantastic. They even tasted great as leftovers the next day. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Qabuli Pulao with lamb shank. We also ordered the gyro. Amazing! Kind service, everything made fresh and fast. Generous portions. I am a big fan of the standing pot of green tea with cardamom for after you eat.
