My husband called for a reservation for a table for 4 to have brunch and were told we were all set . The next day he called back to add another Person to our party and the person taking the reservation said he didn’t have a reservation for anyone by our name. Again we were told we were all set for the next day for brunch . We arrived to the Country club and they don’t even have a sign anywhere for the restaurant. We found it after asking a man walking his dog. The restaurant was empty except for a young lady behind the bar. She took out drink orders and left menus for us. The menus were for lunch.When she returned we asked for the brunch menu and she stated we don’t do brunch anymore starting today. She apologized numerous times.A few other couples arrived with reservations and told the same.We did order from the lunch menu and the food was good , but we really were looking forward to brunch since it was only 10:45 am . We felt bad for the girl working . She was the only one doing the bar , taking orders and delivering food. This young lady deserves a huge raise . She was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. As for whoever manages this restaurant shame on you for leaving your customers high & dry. And especially for leaving this poor employee in a very awkward position. Shame on you. I hope you do the decent things and give this girl a bonus. This was on 1/ 14/2024 we arrived at 10:35 am . I wish I could remember her name. Young thin girl with long dirty blonde hair.

We met friends here today for lunch for the first time at this restaurant, and it was a very nice and casual experience. We enjoyed excellent and very friendly service from Amanda. Our variety of meals of grilled chicken sandwiches, club sandwich, and chicken tenders, all served with fresh side salads were all very good and served very quickly. Will definitely be returning to try the Sunday Brunch.

Chef Nolan and his 2IC, Michelle are great cooks. The food is excellent and plentiful. The service is sometimes slow, not because of the staff, but sometimes because they are overwhelmed by the number of people.
Management needs to do a better job of staffing and being open when golfers finish their rounds.

My first experience dining in for dinner with my parents and it was delicious. Sadie gave us excellent recommendations for each of our orders. I had salmon with mango salsa (I really love mangoes), coleslaw and onion rings. I look forward to dining here again.

A restaurant in Lake Wales was temporarily closed by a state inspector for the fourth time this year for roach and rodent activity on the premises, less than a month after its last closure for the same reason.
Grriffins Restaurant Dining Sports Bar-Banquet, in the Lake Wales Country Club at 2925 State Road 60 E., was temporarily closed on June 14 after receiving 10 violations, three of which were high priority, according to state inspection reports from June 12 to 25.
Among those high-priority violations, an inspector noted more than 140 rodent droppings throughout the restaurant and a live roach on the floor next to a broken walk-in cooler. The inspector also noted raw beef patties stored over beer in a walk-in cooler.
