Burgers are deliciously messy!! The onion rings were flaky, unique and tasty. Definitely in my top 10 favorite burger places in the twin cities. Cheesecurds were classic – worth ordering while you wait for your burger. Bavarian pretzel is not made in house.

I have been to Groveland Tap on two separate occasions. I have included pictures from my first experience, but will call upon my knowledge from both occasions. Groveland Tap is in an excellent location. They do have limited parking, so be aware of that, but there are street parking options. The interior and patio are decorated to create a fun and unique environment. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake. They also have a good drink selection. The second time that was there, we ordered a few different appetizers. The food here was fairly average, but the atmosphere was solid.

The food, service and atmosphere all great! I would call it a classy place with classy food. More upscale then your normal bar food but not too much. I would say it matches the neighborhood. We had the broasted chicken and pot roast both excellent.

The chicken bacon ranch wrap was quite tasty!! Great wrap! Chips were fine but maybe I’ll get the fries next time. The buffalo wings were ok but I’ll probably try fried pickles or another appetizer next time. Coke products are a plus! Great service!! The back room was quite noisy.

We did a personal Juicy Lucy tour while in Minnesota, Found this place online and decided to add it to the list Groveland was our 2nd stop. We were not disappointed at all. The service was great! I ordered the BCO Juicy Lucy had cheese inside and on top of the burger full of flavor crispy bacon and nice soft bun. Super tender meat cooked to perfection! 100% recommend!

Came in for a quick happy hour bite on a Sunday afternoon. I was craving cheese curds, but unfortunately, they weren’t part of the happy hour menu.
The happy hour itself was decent — $1 off their tap beers — though it wasn’t totally clear which taps qualified. They also had a non-alcoholic option from their own brewery, which was a nice touch, but it was only available in cans, not on draft.
The fries were great, and the tostadas, while small, were really tasty. The space has expanded quite a bit since my last visit — it’s now huge and feels lively.
One thing to note: happy hour is only available in the bar area or outside, which feels a bit odd. Still, worth stopping by if you’re nearby and want a casual bite and drink.

We recently hosted an event at Groveland Tap for about 50 people on relatively short notice, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, Kevin, our event manager, was outstanding—responsive, helpful, flexible, and genuinely eager to make sure everything went smoothly. He worked with us on a plan for timing, space, and costs that was both manageable and accommodating, even though we weren’t sure how many people would attend.
Kevin even arranged a call with Chef James so I could get any questions about the menu answered—such a thoughtful touch! On the day of the event, both Kevin and manager Creed checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well.
Our servers, Hannah and Liz, were fantastic—attentive, friendly, fun, and incredibly accommodating. They kept things running smoothly and made everyone feel welcome. Jackie, our bartender, was equally amazing, managing our group’s drink orders from behind the main bar while also serving other guests, and still keeping everything flowing quickly and cheerfully.
Even though the restaurant and bar were open to the public, the team was happy to let us sing a few songs (we’re alumni of a choir), which made the day extra special. Everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely happy to help.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines great food, excellent service, and a team that truly cares about your experience, Groveland Tap is the place. Highly recommend!

This is just a standard American pub. Nothing mind blowing but everything was solid and the atmosphere was nice. Quality burger for reasonable price (around 15). Basically every item on the menu had an upsell, such as extra for fries instead of pub chips, but across the board the prices weren’t ridiculous. I would recommend this spot if you live in the area but there are better spots if just visiting.

Fun neighborhood pub atmosphere. Food is great, highly recommend the Turkey Avocado Burger- delicious! The sauces are the best, from the scallion aioli on the turkey burger to the peanut-mustard option for the wings…it takes the typical pub food to the next level. The staff are friendly and efficient; we had a St Thomas college kid who was great. The outdoor patio is so cozy and fun to have in MN. We highly recommend Groveland for a meal or Happy Hour. We will be back!
