Mom had fish n chips and the fish was beer battered but hard on outside crust. Hard to cut and did not like the slaw at all.
Hubby had the nachos which was dry and not tasty at all. Totally not worth the $ at all. Environment was good and scene of golf course and service was good
Water is not filtered at all. Like really for the price seriously. Will not be back.
My wife ordered the Swiss burger with sweet potato fries (no upcharge!), and I had the Cuban sandwich with regular fries. Everything came out in a reasonable time. My wife really enjoyed her burger and fries. I thought my Cuban would have benefited from less ham and more carnitas, but it was still delicious.
Our server, Lydia, was friendly and attentive, and everything met our expectations. Considering that Nicker’s is part of the Mission Resort, the prices are decent. Enjoy!
After finding the restaurant adjacent to the golf shop, we were greeted with a musty smell. The hostess took a few moments to confirm our table (with only one group seated in the restaurant).
The wine list was underwhelming — no winery listed and the waitress had little info except the winery name. The service was average. One party member had to leave the table to take her empty diet coke glass to the bar for a refill, as the waitress did not check back.
The food again was average and we would have been better off spending the money at one of the Villages many golf course restaurants. No need to return.
The strawberry garnish on the plate for the key lime pie had mold on it, and it was obvious desserts are plated pre-service and sit in a cooler.
Because I was dining alone I only sawy server to order and deliver the check. All the food was delivered by other people and I couldn’t get anyone to refill my water.
Then we split a turkey sandwich on rye with fries.
Waiter was William. Awesome.
Wonderful afternoon
