One of the best spots in Grand Rapids! We went to the Grove to celebrate a birthday and it did not disappoint! Great service and peaceful atmosphere. We had a stroller with us and the staff were able to accommodate our seating with room for the stroller. Each meal was throughly enjoyed and finished completely! We can’t wait to return for another meal!
Food: The scallops with pomegranates were cooked to perfection. Taste was incredible!

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They let us know that the menu changes weekly. They told us all of the specials, and what everything is. Everything we had was very delicious! My favorite was the pumpkin cheesecake, second would be the fried mushrooms!

Phenomenal experience. My husband and I just went for the first time, and WOW! We decided to participate in their “grove for two” experience and it did not disappoint. I will be thinking about this food for awhile. Beautiful ambiance, great drinks, and our server was excellent. Will absolutely be coming back in the future for other special occasions. Highly recommend.

My partner and I visited for Valentine’s Day. Grove was excellent all around. The best part was our server, James. He was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, and gave really great recommendations and explanations when asked about certain parts of the menu, or ingredients in dishes. We had the Grove for two experience, and it was 100% worth the price. We had: Bread and butter, scallops, sturgeon, prawns, lamb ravioli, and pork belly. Each dish was great in its own way. Flavors I have never tasted before, and my pallet was amazed. The cocktails were also noteworthy. Not only was the food and the server great, but the entire meal was an experience. The timing that the courses were served were exceptionally spaced out, and James gave us an in depth explanation for each. The vibe was overall great. My favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids so far. Will definitely return.

Grove is hands down the best restaurant in West Michigan. The detail and care put into every dish and the entire dining experience is impressive. The scratch made menu that seasonally rotates keeps us coming back! All of the staff are attentive, know the menu in & out, and really make the meal enjoyable. It’s hard to find great food and good service these days, but it’s guaranteed at Grove!

Phenomenal meal. At behest of the wait staff, we did two tasting menus for a group of four – essentially got to try all but a few dishes and they were all incredible.
The flavor, balance, presentation, and arrangements were all carefully thought through. The drinks (cocktails) we’re also incredibly crafted.

My lovely wife took me to Grove for my 60th Birthday on December 24, 2025. We ordered the Dinner Tasting for Two, and it was both superb and sublime. When we arrived and seated, the menu that was brought to me had a personalised “Happy 60th Birthday” printed directly on it, which was very thoughtful.
We ordered the following five items: Miso Cod, Pork Short Rib with Pho Broth, Hokkaido Scallops, Pork Belly, and a special offering for that night of Duck Confit in a Scallion Crepe.
The food was absolutely succulent, well-prepared and presented, and had an exceedingly wonderful melding of the flavours. I would thoroughly enjoy having each of these again; anytime!
The service was outstanding, and it was a joy to see how well the staff operated as a team/unit, from the waitstaff to the cooks, and the manager — who worked and led by example, in a brilliant bit of teambuilding not seen at many places at all.
The atmosphere was lovely, with just the right amount of ambient lighting and a decided lack of loud patrons, which made the already wonderful dining experience even more joyous.
Taken together, we highly recommend Grove to all who seek an amazing dining experience, from start to finish. Dinner at Grove was exceptional, and we cannot wait to return there again!

The food was excellent. It was prepared perfectly and at the right temperature. We had the lamb chops, pork shoulder with beets pasta and fried mushrooms. We finished with a dessert of a homemade vegan ice cream sundae and a chocolate cake. We added a cappuccino and an Americano. Overall everything was wonderful and our choices we chose were the five course tasting meal, it was wonderful. Our waitress was Julie and she was amazing.

Excellent experience. I celebrated my birthday here, and the evening exceeded my expectations. The food is incredible— as each dish offers a unique experience.
