Yummy coffee shop with great breakfast sandwiches and beverages. This place was packed for a reason. While maybe not always conducive (can get busy and a bit loud) for a quiet studying place, it does have really yummy breakfast sandwiches and fun seasonal drinks. Even with the long lines, the baristas and staff move quickly to get orders out. We enjoyed several breakfast sandwiches and two season iced coffee drinks, creamy autumn cold brew and a maple brown sugar latte. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast options, simple and to the point. Welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, and that’s just in the morning. Great beer on tap and even wine as options for later in the day. A great experience…WILL BE BACK.

Decided to check this coffee place out. Glad we stopped by. Asked what were the most popular latte flavors, decided on a caramel vanilla iced latte. It was amazing! We also got a flavor of the day pistachio, which was really good. Wasn’t too busy. Nice atmosphere. The two girls that were working were welcoming.

I stopped here on a “book and coffee crawl”. The coffee was okay. I didn’t have any food. I needed assistance from a staff member to help me open the half and half container that they keep at the counter and stood there for 10 minutes waiting for them to acknowledge me. I ended up asking a very friendly stranger who helped me. It was also very cold in there. I’m sure during the summer when the patio is open, it’s a different experience. I wasn’t impressed with the coffee or the customer service, but I would come back if a friend of mine really wanted to. Otherwise I’d probably go to one of the other 6 coffee shops that are within just a few blocks.

This was a great cafe to happen upon. You first notice a huge patio seating area. Inside had a modern rustic motif that was very inviting. The menu was full of great food and beverage options. The barista that greeted us was friendly and helpful. Our coffee and food was delicious; we got a chicken caesar wrap and blueberry banana bread baked oatmeal. I highly recommend Grounded Cafe.

As you read this bear in mind I write this with much love.

This Coffee Shop was so much of a stereo type of a small, college town, coffee shop as to be cartoonish. It is as though someone went out of their way to bring to life a coffee shop from a webcomic.

That said, the food and coffee we had was excellent. and if it’s too late in the day for coffee for you, then have no fear. In true Wisconsin fashion they also have local beers on tap.

If I worked near by this would be my coffee shop and lunch spot.

Super friendly, great place to meet someone to talk, aesthetically pleasing! Helped me narrow down what I wanted and it tasted great. Breakfast crossiant and a chair for about $12 with a tip added! Will come back

Used to be great, quality of food being consistent and service is just dwindling. I reached out to try and get my order fixed the day of a messed up order, told I have to let them know when I’m there anyways I had a baby with a stroller, no seats were available and my order was TO-GO. I’ll post the picture of the food. Supposed to be a LOADED blt, saw one piece of bacon. So if you go here, make sure you don’t tip, and doubt check you’re food before leaving and ask for a remake because they want that treatment instead of just fixing the food or offering a refund regardless if I came back the next day. Totally unfair. Hope they enjoy the income from half feeding us. never going back when I’ve gone for 6+ years. Neither will my family. Still ate it because we were hungry and on the go with a baby but they are inconsiderate of people money and time.

Great little coffee shop in downtown La Crosse! Went back here this morning with a buddy and coffee was just as fresh, hot, and delicious as last time I went here. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly baristas as well. Will definitely be back! ☕️

A perfect little spot for coffee.

The breakfast sandwiches were delicious but the coffee was a little weak. They could work on the coffee since it is there speciality, increasing flavour. To be fair this place rocks and is currently our place to go when stopping in the city.
