Everything was great, nice small town bakery atmosphere. People are friendly and service is fast. Fresh doughnuts and cakes, frozen and hot coffee beverages, even gluten free options!!! The gluten free brownie was fudgy and rich and so appreciated! The Hot Chocolate Freeze is delicious as well!

The drinks I get here are always so good. The deserts don’t have much flavor, aside from butter and sugar. They have decent textures, though. Nothing has been under- or overbaked.
The employees are very kind and friendly.
The customers can be problematic occasionally. Typical Mount Olive whyte church-cliquey nonsense behavior. One tried to recruit me for her church. I tried to keep it simple and incapable of being misinterpreted, but somehow “No” was not getting through. Eventually, I felt I had to resort to confessing my imminent bursting into flames should I tread holy ground. I guess that was something she understood, because she left without another word.
She isn’t the only customer I’ve had unwanted conversation with, but she is the one that sticks out the most.
I have the spoons to deal with her kind, but I can see this being an unwelcome, sometimes borderline hostile, environment for other neurodivergent people; because it seems like I have to deal with at least one Karen or Becky every time I go. And the employees are not to blame, these Karens and Beckys are some sneaky things; managing to wait until you’re far enough away from the counter before they start there spiel for the employees to hear.

Love this bakery and coffee shop! You cannot go wrong with any of their goodies, and everything I try is delicious Really love their brookies, doughnuts, lemon bars, and mini blueberry muffins. Prices are super reasonable. Also love that they are a local, Christian business!

Was my first time at the Mt olive location. And I tried the cheese biscuits and they were 10/10 really good. And of course a coffee. I got the the Cameron mocha … White chocolate and hazelnut. Was delicious. Really sweet ladies in there. Would definitely recommend trying them out. They have donuts cakes everything homemade. Definitely worth the try!

My new favorite place in Mt. Olive. We have a small group that tries to meet up once a week for coffee and those yummy treats. The atmosphere is so relaxing and service is great! They are very helpful with questions about different coffees, so you can try something different.

This place is PHENOMENAL! They make everything fresh! Everything from the doughnuts to the lunch items are fire!! Service is spot on in every capacity! It’s family oriented and family ran! They have other locations too and the product and service are consistent in each store. You just get a feeling it’s a home grown kinda place!

I got a latte and chess bar. The chess bar was so good top teir. The latte was on the sweet side so if you don’t like sweet coffee don’t order a latte with flavor. My friend ordered the pumpkin bar, it was okay. My other friend ordered a GREEN TEA REFRESHER. It was not good, tasted like sweet tea. And the barista UPCHARGED her to a matcha teas. She knew it wasn’t matcha because she asked her, and then she made the refresher and not the matcha. It was a THREE dollar upcharge. Disappointed. Also don’t expect great customer service. Maybe it was just the employee working. But make sure they don’t take advantage of you when you go. It’s a shame they saw someone trying to order something new and upcharged her because she didn’t know better. Next time I’ll be more aware as she didn’t know to ask the worker before paying if there is a next time.

In town to try out a restaurant & stopped in for a doughnut. Oh my world am I glad we did. I got a lemon filled & my son got a cream filled(didnt get a pic of his, he ate it to fast). The works were so friendly. Definitely stop by here & get your sweet fix.

We really loved this place, they do had an extensive list of coffees at reasonable prices with a delicious flavor, bakery was great too, definitely a hidden gem in mount olive, why drive to Goldsboro when we had this place that as better options? Just go, you won’t be disappointed
