I was extremely pleased with the service of this restaurant. I was greeted immediately upon entering and the hostess was extremely welcoming/warm. My picture of my burger might be crude but it did not lack whatsoever in taste. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The food was all hot and fresh/cooked to order. The service was quick and our server was extremely friendly. I would recommend Ground Round for lunch or dinner alone or with friends/family. I am from out of town and I was very happy with my experience.

My husband and I went to Ground Round for dinner on 9/18/2025 as it has been a restaurant that we have been wanting to try for some time. The hostess was very pleasant and cheerful! Before ordering, I informed our (very impatient) server that I have a severe allergy to mushrooms and expressed that my meal cannot be prepared on the same surface (unless cleaned) as mushrooms. She said “oh, okay”. My husband ordered the Texas Hold’em with fries. I ordered the Bacon cheese burger with fries. My husband’s burger came to him well-done despite being ordered med-rare with very little sauce on it and a small amount of fries. My burger was literally just the meat, cheese, bacon, and the bun, no mayo. The burger was dry and the bacon was burnt and I can get a better order of fries for cheaper at a fast-food restaurant. I thought that the dry burger was the reason I was having issues swallowing, however, it dawned on me that I was, in fact, having an allergic reaction. We promptly paid and left, as I don’t like to make a scene. As we were walking out to the car, my husband wanted to know if there was a possibility that my burger was prepared on the same surface as mushrooms. The manager on duty, while not out right rude, expressed that we should be aware of the possibility of cross contamination when someone has allergies to certain foods. When he asked when the GM would be working, she stated that she “had no idea when she works next”, was not helpful in finding out information for him, and made it a point to say that our orders didn’t come with mushrooms so should not have been an issue. Needless to say, we will not be eating at this establishment again.

The fact that you get a complimentary basket of movie theater popcorn when you dine here is a place I plan to return for that alone. Okay?! LOL That was different, and I really love movie theater popcorn! I decided to have the delicious and tasty Sizzling Fajitas from Tex Mex menu! This reminded me of a Tex Mex restaurant in North Jersey! The fountain Coke Zero was on point, too! The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive! I was impressed.

The food was good; we had burgers with fries and they came out hot and fresh. Our server was fine, but she did not make eye contact, looked bored and a little mad to be working, and did not come back to check on us after our food was delivered until it was time to drop off the check. There was a pile of napkins on the floor, and we watched multiple employees look at it and keep walking; it sat on the floor for the entire hour we were there.

We had the smash burgers, husband wanted the one with cowboy caviar (not realizing it wasn’t available) but the cook graciously volunteered to make him one. Hot, very tasty burgers for a decent price. And the popcorn was a bonus treat, even though our food came quickly and we only got a taste. Highly recommend

I haven’t been here in years. 3 millennials decided to go back to relive their childhood. I had the smash burger and it was a very good burger. I make them at home and am very picky about restaurant burgers but it didn’t disappoint. The rest of the table liked their food as well. We split the Italian nachos which were meh, not great but all in all a nice experience. Service was exceptional.

Showed up to the Ground Round shortly after their opening time on Sunday and wasn’t sure if they were even open. Zero cars in the lot, not even employee’s vehicles… had to check the door to see if they were open or if there was any signs. Don’t be fooled by an empty lot, they are probably open.
The food was good and somewhat disappointing at the same time. I had the double elk burger, which although good, wasn’t as gamey as I had wanted. Could have ordered a plain double hamburger and probably wouldn’t of been able to tell the difference. Sorry, but if I order game meat I want it to be gamey. I will not order it again.
My mom had ordered some french toast thing off the kids menu and got the pancakes meal instead… waitress was gracious and appologized, offered to fix the issue but mom didn’t want a fuss and ate the pancakes. Other than the mix up, the service was good.
This experience hasn’t soured me from the Ground Round, but I don’t know when I will return.

I order food to go from here at least once a month, sometimes more often, depending how frequently I come through. I get the same thing every time. I ask for it the same way every time. I have placed this exact order 25+ times, yet to this day, it’s wrong 9 out of 10 times. How is that possible? I give specific instructions to make sure the chips & cheese are in separate containers, as the moisture from the cheese gets absorbed into the chips, creating soggy chips & dry cheese, and I specifically ask for To Go silverware. For some reason, those 2 requests are impossible to follow. Once again, right now as we speak, the chips & cheese are in the same containers, and I am stuck driving 150 miles & unable to eat my soup because there is no To Go silverware in my To Go order, for the 2nd time in a row. The chips & cheese thing is what it is & I can live with it, but how do you not put To Go silverware in a TO GO order? I shouldn’t have to tear open the stapled bags before I leave every time to make sure. I shouldn’t even have to specifically request it (not that it does any good) because why would you not automatically put To Go silverware in all To Go orders? New Ground Round commercial idea: “We have the most expensive soup in town, charging $10 per bowl, & we don’t even provide you with a spoon, so with perks like that, why go anywhere else? Come to Ground Round now!”
