I had the best visit at Ground Roots. The handcrafted drink and muffin were phenomenal. I chatted with the owner while I waited and she was very sweet and friendly. The prices were fair. I tried the special of the week, the strawberry cream cold brew, and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The muffin was so good as well. Such a cute spot, I’m excited to stop by on my return trip through Oak Grove.

The CUTEST Coffee shop – we stumbled upon this place on a road trip. Almost made the mistake of grabbing coffee & breakfast at QT when we gassed up! So glad we did not! What an absolutely gorgeous setup. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink. The drink itself was great and the barista’s recommendation was on point.

* Adorable coffee shop with a welcoming twist!
* I had the espresso martini and a burrito and both were great! The service was amazing and the woman who took care of me was genuinely very sweet.
* Atmosphere itself is very vibey, plants, cool lights, and plenty of seating.
*book & board game area as well as bar beverages encourage a genuine sit-down-and-chill feeling (AKA I don’t feel rushed to get out, love that)
*legit baby-changing table in the bathroom (parents would rave over this imo, it’s a very well prepared restroom)
*Overall I like this shop and wish it existed when I went to school here. OG don’t sleep on this spot! ☕❤

It’s a great little local place! The owner was there and very friendly, informative and attentive. They serve Scratch bakery items which are delicious and the coffee drink I chose was GREAT: blackberry vanilla latte. Mimosas too! As well as other adult beverages. Recommend when you’re in the area.

It looks like they have daily and weekly specials here, so there are more options than the standard menu lets on. It wasn’t clear if there were nondairy options. I forgot to ask because I was set on their delicious spicy chai.
The coffee here is delicious and strong. The chai has a nice spicy kick. The croissants are fresh, scrumptious, and like many other things here, are sourced locally. It makes a difference not only economically but also in quality you can taste. Unfortunately she was sold out of her breakfast burritos, but the chili was surprisingly tasty. I wish I would’ve gotten a second bowl!

Some of the most friendliest people I’ve ever met at a public place, ( The Hot Chocolate is my favorite) , they’re pop tarts are also super good and the muffins are my favorite thing to get if, if I get food♥️♥️, As for the place itself I LOVE to just order my drink and I could sit in here for HOURS if I could (which I’m sure they wouldn’t mind) The atmosphere is comfy/cozy (I’ve almost fell asleep ). They have other items like $5 mystery books (I’ve bought so many and the books are great), they also have I believe it’s local jams and apple butter. They have so much more also you’d have to come check the place out for yourself

Vegan/vegetarian options and fully customizable menu. Plethora of delightful menu picks. Terrific hours, open late and in the evenings, on weekends, including Sunday, every day. Cafe, brunch/breakfast style food items available, and desserts and specialty drinks, including alcohol. Games and activities and books.

Love this place so much, and the owner beth is a phenomenal human. She’s kind, down to earth, and so excited to serve the community. There’s events happening all the time, from bunco to sip & paint nights. Definitely worth stopping in for amazing coffee and community. ✨️ ✨️
