Quality baked goods at this old-style family-run bakery. The prices are reasonable but service can be a little slow when only one staff member working, usual in morning. My one key suggestion would be to switch to paper cups for their coffee, as I found styrofoam add slightly unpleasant oily taste.

This is an traditional bakery and has been around for a while. You can have your early morning coffee and donuts and come back for pepperoni rolls on lunch time. They have changed the interior and it is amazing! Come check it out!!!

Grosse Ile bakery staff went above and beyond for a birthday cake for me. The Texas sheet cake was moist and chocolatey, much better than the boxed cake I might have tried. The chocolate frosting was creamy and paired with the cake without being too sweet. The personal message was great to include and the leaf decorations were so beautiful.
