My first time ordering here. I made a pickup order. When I say I’ll definitely be back. I honestly wasn’t expecting these grits to be slapping like this. Ole girl big her big one on these. As my daughter would say the cheese pull was everything. The shrimp, sausage, pepper ratio went perfect with the smooth not over salted grits. I didn’t have to add season at all. The portion sizes are definitely worth the money spent. I won’t make it to the waffles just yet but they look like I’ll be right back asleep after I wake up from these grits lol. Y’all go pull up, slide thru, spin a bend. Just get in there lol.

We came 30mins after opening. Customer service felt cold in the beginning but the longer we sat the better it got. Some people just need coffee I guess. No complaints. French toast was huge. The Mac and cheese was good and I had the oxtail grilled cheese would definitely reccomend. I didn’t like the chicken sausage, but my brother said the omelet he had was very tasty. Would return again.

Carmen was our hostess she was kind friendly and she kept us up to date on our order. The grilled cheese oxtail cheese toast was delicious. It was full of meat and flavor. First impression visit on a Saturday morning at 10:30AM with a large party. The restaurant was full by 11:00AM.
Restaurant is located in a suite.
There is free street parking for 2 hours. At the time we went out was easy to find parking.
We ordered the seafood omlette plate, smothered pork chops, fried pork chops, and the all around omlete with salmon.
Pros
They have music but it is not loud- you can have a conversation without having to yell over the music.
They have traditional Atlanta brunch prices but they give great portions. The omletes had fresh cut tomatoes.
Cons
They do not serve appetizers. There are no appetizers on the menu.
The pork chops were fried too hard. We asked for a side of gravy and the gravy had more seasoning than the chops.
They have automatic gratuity and I do not appreciate being mislead. When it was time to pay, they server showed the tipping screen, not the receipt, and I tipped like a normal person would. She did NOT tell me that gratuity was automatically included, making me give her a $50 tip. I should have been shown the receipt, regardless of what the menu may or may not say.
10. Would I Recommend: No, the food is just okay, the service is subpar, and the tipping was misleading.

Ok. So, first impressions is everything. I did not like the way the hostess didn’t acknowledge us and didn’t really speak. Just looked as if we knew what to do. That wasn’t good. Our waiter Carmen was really nice and she made up for that. Now the food. It wasn’t bad. I loved the biscuit, it was very fluffy and soft. The honey on it was good also. The pancakes were HUGE! Definitely tasted homemade to me. Like that. My only issue was the grits and eggs. Grits were to salty but had a great texture. Eggs were dry. It seemed like it was cooked too long. Overall, it the whole experience was ok. Maybe because I was expecting to be wowed. I’m not sure if I’ll go back. Unless it’s to try a new meal.

Came here for my cousin birthday Sunday nov 16/25 and today for my birthday 12/7 I must say from start to finish we had a blast the dj was awesome not to loud so we could hear each other speak and play a nice mix, our server shea “butta” absolutely awesome she was prompt and very pleasant there were 3 birthday she was handling and she made it look effortless… great job, our Bartender was equally amazing im not sure of his name but he made great drinks even coming over to chat with our group…. Keep up the good work guy, cant wait to come back

This was my first time going here . It was noon on a Monday so it wasn’t busy. They didn’t have a kids menu. I ordered the fish and grits with a side of breakfast potatoes. My grits were cold but the fish was delicious. I took a bite in my honey butter biscuit which was cold . I tried the potatoes they didn’t taste fresh. (Cold) My boyfriend got pancakes, eggs scrambled with cheese and chicken sausage. Also he ordered a bottle beer. He didn’t drink the beer cause it was hot. Apparently the beer isn’t refrigerated it’s being kept it a tub with ice. The chicken sausage wasn’t completely cooked you can still see the casing on the end of the sausage and the eggs were cold . My daughter was satisfied she had two huge pancakes and bacon.

Had been to Gritz before and food was fantastic! Service was poor but I decided to try them again. Horrible experience me and my family went there for some good old creamy grits but that is not what we got! The waitress was very attentive but I notice that they were playing some not so pleasant music very loud and not what I would enjoy listening to, but pass that we were hungry and ready to order and eat. My issue with the food was that green stuff was sprinkled all over my food and I was told that it was parsley but I did not want it on my grits, eggs or my hashbrowns and my grits had cottage cheese in them. I was told that it was cream cheese but it was too lumpy my meal was ruined! I asked for the manager and she came out and told me directly that I could send the food back but she was not taking it off the check because she did not see anything wrong with it! I was appalled because as a customer I would think that she would have at least tried to correct the problem that I had with the food but she did not! I lost my appetite right then and there. But it gets worse ok we will pay for the food that she charged me for and I did not eat I just left it there and then got the ticket and the price on the menu was different than the price that was on the receipt! I asked the waitress what was the problem with the different price and she said that they had not updated the menu as of yet. I could go on and on but all I am saying is that I have never been to a resturant where the manager does not care if the customer enjoys their food and will charge you for the food even when you tell them that you are not satisfied with it. Will not be going there again. Just sayin…
