Well grist house beer is always awesome but I was blown away by the food from Freedom Farm. Wow! Nashville hot chicken, fries, fried pickles. Yah man. I took soups and artichoke dips to go for dinner tomorrow. There is not a table server, but the staff and bartender were just super nice.

Such an awesome spot for local food, libations and live music! Can’t wait to check it out in the warmer weather because the outside space looks really cool as well. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

The Grist House Beer Crib is more than just another taproom. Much more. It’s literally a place “where everybody knows your name.” It’s a place where friendships are made and where friends continue to gather. I can always count on someone I know being there at the bar, or having a meal, or throwing some disc golf out back. My man Scott is always ready with a beer for me as soon as I walk in. Speaking of Scott, he’s a bartender like no other. Always attentive, always suggesting a new style to try and always good conversation. The rest of the crew is amazing as well and always happy to see you. The kitchen is run by Freedom Farms and everything on the menu is worth trying at least once. They are also dog-friendly, which is always a plus for me and my faithful hound, Bailey. Funny…I haven’t even mentioned the beer yet. If you’re at all familiar with “Grist”, as us locals call it, then you already know they have some of THE BEST liquid in western Pennsylvania. I highly recommend Hazedelic Juice Grenade, Space Cactus, Molecular Effect…any of their NEIPAs really. If you’re more into fruited sours or light lagers, they have a phenomenal, rotating selection of those as well. Come join me sometime! I’ll buy you a beer if you remember my name

Loved this!!!
Awesome food and atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Completely enjoyed our visit. Very unique with seating in the greenhouse and birdcage patio. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food is amazing! Homemade!
It is brewery, so don’t be shocked that they don’t have vodka. They also don’t have any pre mixed cocktails like the Millvale location.

We’re at the Beer Crib at least once a week and always have a great experience. The bartenders are friendly and the beer is fantastic. There’s a great selection and always something to enjoy. With the Farm to Fork kitchen right there it’s a great place for lunch or a light dinner. It’s dog friendly too! Especially in the summer there are usually a few pups around. The Beer Crib has such a chill vibe, and a family friendly one too!
