Every dish looks the same, yes the pictures are all different, and the taste is bland. It took forever to get the check, and then was given the wrong check. On a positive note, the salsa is great!

Our server Dyllon was great, the food was good and came out in a timely manner. The tortillas were cold with the soft tacos, but the taste was good. The salsa is always great, we were a little bummed that they now limit free salsa to two small dishes per customer. The restaurant was cold. We have been coming here for years, and will definitely be back.

Our family ate tonight and the food was awesome! Miriam was our server and very attentive! We tried the bean and seafood dip for the first time and loved it. The puffy flour tortillas were tasty with the dip. Each of us loved our dishes and the drinks stayed full. Great job tonight! We’ll be back!

If you need cleaned out VIA bowels go eat there other wise I wouldn’t recommend it since the new owners took over. The chicken ala creme we use to go there for dose not taste even close to the same and the red hot salsa is garbage compared to the original. Sad to see this restaurant go down hill. I had the combo #4 and I am spending the night on the toilet, glad I paid a high price for bowel cleansing. Most of their stuff is pre frozen and NOT fresh made, definitely not a “Mexican” restaurant you should go to. Thanks for the response but the food at your restaurant is not good at all. I had the the combo #4 as I stated before that you forgot to address in your response that was a colon cleanser. My wife has been “cleansing” all night cause of your food, and no the food is not the same as it was before you took it over. We will not be back and if you need some tips, goto El Rancho Taqueria for authentic Mexican food, cause you suck! 3.7?? You should be so proud!

Passing through Rexburg, ID, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant called Gringo’s. From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for a treat. The chips and salsa were a standout—they bring three different types of salsa to the table, each one delicious in its own way. The food was good, with generous portions that hit the spot. The service was friendly and fast, making the experience even better. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re in the area, Gringo’s is definitely worth a stop!

We stopped in for lunch today. It was delicious!! Sooo much better than the Taco Bell we were thinking about! Food came out fast and our server was very cute and helpful. Can’t wait to eat there again!!

We love Gringos! I’m a picky eater so it’s hard for me to find something I like, even here, but the cheese and onion enchiladas with beans on the side is amazing! The salsa is quite literally the best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. The service is always great here whether it’s a dead night or completely packed. Quickly becoming one of our favorites!

I’m just wondering if they have changed their salsa? I love the salsa here but last week I got chips and medium salsa to go. When I got home my salsa had the consistency of the mild salsa (more of a blended/thicker type). Didn’t really taste like mild though. It was disappointing. Has anyone noticed this?

Average Tex-Mex food. I love the service provided by the waiters and staff. I would improve their menu by adding photos and cleaning their picture frames and walls. If you really want good food, even Taco Bell is better. *Not authentic Mexican food.*
