I was excited to see Grimaldi’s right across the street from our hotel as I hadn’t been to one in years. I went for a late lunch & it was very clean even after lunch rush. The service was great & the waiter asked if it was ok to have someone from the kitchen shadow him. The Pizza, Caesar salad & Cannoli were all Great.
It is a little more on the spendy side, but all in all a Great lunch.

My first impression of the restaurant was the impressive decor. The details are worth stopping to notice, and it contributes ro a happy atmosphere. This restaurant gets very busy, and they did their best to accommodate our large party. We were warned that pizzas will take a while, so it’s best to order quickly. Because of the business of the restaurant, ordering quickly isn’t always possible so be prepared to wait. The food overall is 4/5 stars. Some dishes are quite good such as the pepperoni and hot honey. We found the prosciutto pizza to be a bit dry. This restaurant is worth checking out if you’re interested in an Italian restaurant that’s a bit more upscale.

In my personal experience of multiple takeout orders spanning more than 2 years, Grimaldi’s demonstrates intentional high quality on all fronts – food, management, and service.

My opinion: THE HIGHEST QUALITY PIZZA in Brookfield. Period. A national brand consistently baked to perfection.

An interesting preparation method in a coal fire brick oven provides exceptional – but faint – “smoky baked” taste in bread base and very “classic traditional America” crust quality.

Upon my mid 2025 report of inaccurate result from kitchen to head chef Darren, he immediately granted me a free full size pizza at my next purchase. – Very impressed. – Thank you Darren!

Complimentary parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes always offered at pickup + very friendly and attentive over-the-phone ordering process. – Make sure to have order read back.

A very popular option in The Corners – make sure to arrive at opening or make a reservation if dining in. On weekends, there can be a long wait for takeout as well.

Table was free when we got there, waited about 10 min before ordering, then after 45 more minutes, asked about our food and they said there was a mixup and it was just going in! So it was well over an hour before we got our food, a large group behind us that had gotten there BEFORE us waited even longer, while another that came after us got their food right away. Very loud, hard to hear the servers. The margaritas were absolutely terrible – I had “strawberry”/my bf had lime, he said it was the worst margarita he ever had. I had the server add more “strawberry” to make it taste better, but whatever red liquid she added did not help. If you want toppings on half, they charge you for the whole pizza topping, so we ended up getting individual pizzas. Our server was very nice and seemed genuinely concerned that we were having a bad experience, but the staff seemed very young & inexperienced. A glass got dropped while we were there, so they were sweeping up glass. When the pizzas were brought to the table, it was hard to tell whose was whose. I had the margherita pizza and you could not pick up the slices to eat it because it was very mushy in the center, had to eat with a fork. The pizza was okay, not anything special, very overpriced. We ordered antipasto to take home because my bf loves olives, and they forgot to put in the olives! Good comments: The fresh mozzarella in the antipasto was delicious. The server gave us her employee discount to make up for the bad experience, which was very nice of her. But I would not return and recommend any regular pizza joint instead, you’ll get better pizza at a better price and less headache!

The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We had the caprese, Brooklyn bridge Pizza, and canole for dessert. Everything was better than I’ve had in years. It reminded me a little of a pizzeria in my home town from when I was little, right down to the checkered tablecloths.

Honestly, my son and I came here because of Grimaldi’s Traveling Circus in Dungeon Crawler Carl. We were hoping for good food and a decent experience; everything was so much so much better than we’d hoped for.

There was fast service and the host asked us if our outdoor seating was to our liking. The music and lights are cute outside and fit the Italian atmosphere. The crust is also really crunchy on the pizza and delicious! However, on the pizza, there was more vegetables than meat, which was disappointing.

Really nice place. Excellent pizza! Very high quality toppings! Nothing tasted like it was from a can. I never had a pizza crust that thin. The only downside to having a crust so thin, was that it cooled off pretty fast. Will definitely go back again!

After an event downtown, we decided to try Grimaldi’s for pizza. Entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess and requested a table for 2. She said there was a 45 minute wait, yet there were empty 2-top tables. She then informed us that it would be a 25 minute wait (?what?). I asked about the empty tables and she shrugged her shoulders saying “they don’t tell me”. After talking with a different hostess, we were escorted to one of the empty 2-top tables.

We promptly ordered our pizza and drinks. Our drinks came right away, however we waited over an hour for our pizza. We were offered some bread however, they were out of bread!

Management did comp the pizza, which was appreciated. The pizza had very little white sauce, too many large white onion pieces and was relatively bland tasting.

The server was very kind and apologetic for the delay.

It was a disappointing end to what was a beautiful date night.

This was a complete management failure. The servers were doing their best and were put in an awful position by poor leadership and bad decision-making.

Dine-in customers waited over an hour, and our order — although entered — wasn’t started until we complained after waiting an hour. Servers had to repeatedly go table to table apologizing and explaining delays they had no control over.

To-go orders were prioritized even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Management left the servers to handle frustrated guests instead of fixing the problem themselves. Pizzas were comped, which we appreciated, but the experience was already ruined.

Great servers. Horrible management.
