To add to my post we had to go back a second time the next day and get the big meat platter. It was absolutely awesome. We traveled the country for work and always looking for unique food. This was by far the best tasting meat we have had in a long time. Definitely must make a stop if you’re anywhere near Tampa. It is a small place with outside seating only and the owners are super nice.
Unfortunately, when we got home and my dad tried the food, it was extremely tough and difficult to eat—definitely not what we were expecting after asking for something tender. I called the restaurant to express my concern, but the receptionist told me I had to call back the next day because the manager or owner wasn’t available.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, both in terms of food quality and how the situation was handled. I hope the management takes this kind of feedback seriously, especially when recommendations are made based on a specific customer need.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
But tha attendant was very sweet and nice. Maybe I can try again. I don’t know.

A quick google search for Plant based options in the Krate at the Grove led me to GrillTopia indicating, “Grilltopia is specifically highlighted for having a variety of flavorful vegan dishes”. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the large and obvious sign on the door reading “ DELICIOUS PLANT- BASED
OPTIONS AVAILABLE HERE!” We quickly found out that meat is the main part of the menu. We needed to eat and run, so figured we’d order some sides ie-Rice, beans, sweet plantains…. My husband does eat fish, so he ordered their shrimp pincho, which is like a kabob, advertised with grilled veggies…. I asked the girl at the registrar several times to make sure our order had no meat… I asked if the rice and beans had meat or meat broth and was told, “no”. While waiting for our food, we saw a propped board outside that advertised mango juice, so we went back in for a juice and they were all out of that—- starting to get a bad feeling now.
After waiting an obscene amount of time for our food and checking in several times our beeper finally went off.
Our order came missing the plantains, the kabobs had no veggies and the beans which I quickly mixed with the rice, had bacon in it! When I went to return it, they were only willing to give half of the money back since technically the rice wasn’t cooked with meat— am I just supposed to eat white rice alone?
When we asked about the missing plantains, we were told, simply, “we ran out”. We paid for them, so now what? Where they ever going to tell us? And then they finally offered a different side as a replacement for the plantains. This whole entire order should have been refunded. We waited over 40 mins for our food and there were very few people there. They are falsely advertising plant based options and were not accommodating or solution oriented at all!
