Went for dinner last night. The decor is ok and the place is clean including the toilets. The samosa chaat was very good. The dahi poori needs a bit more yoghurt! It’ll still be crunchy if you put a bit more dahi! The Malabar was succulent grilled chicken and a velvety sauce with a kick. Delicious sauce! The jeera rice was a major let down; not cooked fully and probably left under a grill /oven for too long/high heat? The top layer was crunchy rice and only a portion of it was cooked deep in the bowl! Guys you can’t mess up rice if you are trying to sell a premium Indian food!! The Malabar paratha was very small I thought! The Kandhari paneer was delicious. The makhni sauce didn’t feel rich although it was very smooth and well made. All in all, a premium offer but with some pitfalls. Don’t go to this place for standard Indian fare but an elevated offering with very tasty sauces. I’m appreciative of the efforts by Ajay Kumar to take Indian food to a higher level. Folks give it a try, you’ll like it!

My husband and I came here with a sharing feast voucher from itison and we were not disappointed! The butter chicken was the best I’ve ever tasted, and the chicken tikka masala was also lovely too. With this we had the grilled mushroom tikka and the spicy fried chicken and the jeera rice and malabar paratha – everything was so flavoursome and delicious.
For dessert we both got the gulab jamun which was scrumptious.
The service was a little slow however the waiters were both very nice (the were the only 2 there, so the restaurant was most likely operating on skeletal staff), the slow service didn’t put us off though as the food very much made up for the wait!
We will absolutely be back!

We visited Grilled for dinner. The experience was 5 star throughout. The food was incredible, an elevated Indian experience and the portions are very generous. The prices are more than reasonable. The poppadoms and selection of dips and the butter chicken were my favourites, incredibly delicious. Our meal including 1 drink each came to £67. We had a £100 voucher and we did not know that this was a single time use, as it was gifted to us. The staff kindly said they would make us something to take away so we did not forfeit the voucher. I would highly recommend Grilled review this policy, as we would have definitely came back to spend the remaining £33 and spent more money during our second visit. This wont stop us visiting in the future, one of the best dinners I have had in a long time.

Oh my God, this place is a vibe. The food is vibrant & delicious. I’ve never been somewhere so considerate of my allergies & prepared in advance. I had the prawns to start, they were so chunky & in the lightest crispiest batter. I also had the blackened chops & shared a rice. We all had something different & everyone was raving about the food.

Nancy our waitress was so professional & fun, she knew everything on the menu & had excellent recommendations. She knew what my friends liked to drink as recognised them from before. Impeccable service, thanks for looking after us.

The setting is warm & casual with good music in the background so we stayed for drinks until closing.
We spent over £200 but we drank quite a bit.

Food and service were great. Menu was just the right size. One of the party got lamb chops which was very good. Lamb boti gets an honourable mention too.

Will be back to try a few other things. Cocktails were very nice too as well as the wine.

First time here, won’t be the last, quality produce, cooked to perfection.

We had sea bass and lamb chops followed by gulab jamin and the vermicelli pasta dessert.
Food was out standing but the welcome from the staff and service was excellent.

Sea bass comes as it is, head tail everything on it. Meat falls off just using a fork.
As normal with fish on the bone eat it slowly and if you pick up any bones your able to remove before you get jagged.

Subtle spices let the fish shine through .
Lamb chops as lamb should be dark on the outside pink in the middle. Succulent, served with a rogan josh sauce, which isn’t as tomato tasting as normally associated with curry version but compliments the chops beautifully.
Place was a bit quiet but 2pm on a Thursday was probably after lunch rush. Less formal than swadish different vibe. We will be back.

We went to the restaurant for my wife’s birthday and really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. The team was great and suggested items that were really flavourful from the menu. The lamb chops and the thali rice was our favourite. Anish is amazing and had great recommendations. The team made the day special. We will be sure to be back when in Glasgow next!

This was everything and more than we expected. Having been to Swadish many times we were excited about trying Ajay new restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. It was a taste sensation. Everything was amazing from the curry to the moist grilled chicken kebab. Wow. The food was amazing. Just a pity we couldn’t try everything on the menu in 1 sitting. Guess we will just have to come back. Very reasonably priced too.

My partner and I really enjoyed our experience at this newly opened restaurant on a Friday evening. We received a warm from the staff, who were friendly and helpful throughout.

The restaurant is intimate, modern and has a relaxed ambiance. The selection of drinks really suited our tastes, with good choices of beer and cocktails.

The food was nothing short of excellent, each dish was perfectly cooked and everything had amazing flavours. We shared 1 small plate, 1 curry, 1 grilled dish and a few sides. This was the perfect amount for us, but we may have stayed to fit in a dessert (which looked good) if we had more time.

We cannot wait to visit again to try some of the other dishes. Thank you ☺️
