Sherry and Carla are awesome and will take great care of you. Saw them take care of several guests after the posted closing hours to make sure everyone was satisfied. We visit lots of hotels for hockey and they are by far the best barstaff we have run into in years If you come into the Doubletree Sherry and Carla will take care of you. Highly recommended.

Beth the server was amazingly kind, she’s wonderful. We got to see her interacting with some much older, intellectually disabled adults and she was so engaging and kind with them. She stayed and talked a little bit with them and remembered seeing them the year before even.
It was pretty good, the eggs, breads, and meats were pretty standard for any Hilton hotel but the waffles were beautiful (tasted good too) and the berries and sugar on them made them stand out.
The one thing I’m quite unhappy about is the fact that their restaurant menus online say breakfast is $14 for the buffet but it’s actually $25 (market price).

We stayed at the Doubletree and this was within the hotel. As a guest I was hoping for a fair deal for breakfast. There were no prices posted anywhere in the hotel till morning. On Google search it listed a $16 buffet and other options like pancakes etc… we planned on a nice breakfast to start our day and came to a sign that said $25 breakfast buffet per person. We were stuck for time with no other option as this was our plan after searching online night before. That was the only option, not even a menu of individual dishes. The quality was a lot left to be desired. My children didn’t even like the looks of a lot of it and barely ate with a big day ahead of us. The only bonus was we were not charged for one daughter’s meal and charged a cheaper “continental breakfast” for the other. This was after we had already made mention of the price discrepancy. The place was at least clean and staff friendly but kind of fell short everywhere else.

Service was very very friendly and the food was well prepared. The online menu did not match their actual menu. I enjoyed the blackened chicken pasta I ordered. It lacked the bit of spice that I was expecting from “lightly spiced Alfredo” and the blackened chicken was more like normal grilled chicken. I’m a light weight with spicy seasoning – like a lot of black pepper can be spicy for me. Haha. Thus, for me to not taste any spice, it was very lightly spiced.
Service was exceptionally slow however not the fault of staff as the restaurant only had one staff acting as both server & bartender and one cook to make all dinner orders. They never stopped moving to serve customers however they were just very short staffed. They managed to stay up-beat all night, even given that some customers were not pleased about the wait. There were clearly a few regulars that the bartender knew and remembered their drinks, etc. It shows that it’s overall a very friendly restaurant.
I enjoyed my hotel dining experience and since I knew it was going to be slow service, that didn’t sour my experience.

I was really hoping the food was going to be as delicious as their picture, but unfortunately I’m going to have to claim false advertising. Blackened chicken pasta was more like soup. I bet there’s one slice of a tomato chopped up in there. Restaurant was dead to too so there no reason not to make it how it should be.

Had the special of the day, some unique chicken tacos at the bar that were fabulous. Bartender made the recommendation, asked how we liked them, and gave a little story as to how they came up with the idea. Excellent food, excellent service. Bravo!

I had dinner and breakfast. Buffet style breakfast was good. Dinner experience was bad food was okay. Ordered rack of lamb it took almost 45 minutes to get the food. Server was nice to give me update about the food situation.

Had a late dinner there of Mango spicy wings which were too sweet & cold and Potato skins which were cold and bland. Service was slow. Iced cream cookie with vanilla iced cream was great, but probably only because they’re the same great, fresh cookies served at the front desk. Pizza seemed to be popular but I didn’t try it.
Breakfast buffet the next morning was much better. Service was also pleasant and much better. I’d recommend the breakfast buffet, but not dinner.

My experience at this establishment was fantastic, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Andrea and Julie at the bar. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, taking care of us with genuine warmth and professionalism. Not only did they serve us promptly and accurately, but they also accommodated our request to stay a bit longer, making our visit truly memorable.
