A late lunch was very good, prices were reasonable ($125 for five men with drinks and tip), and service was quick and responsive, with a friendly atmosphere. Parked in the back with no problem. Fries, onion rings, and homemade chips were all outstanding on the side.

Great spot in Mifflintown and open later than a lot of places as well as on Sundays. Was only at the upstairs bar, but there is a downstairs bar so plenty of spots to spread out when it gets busy.

Service was amazing. We had a group of 8 after a softball game and we were greeted upstairs and directed to head downstairs, through he kitchen and then on to the dining/tv area. Food was excellent, beer was cold. Thoroughly recommend if you are in the area.

Great layout, but limited capacity. Great atmosphere with small bar. Has a combination of booth, high top tables, & ledge seating. Big TV screens on back wall. Barmaid was very accommodating & helpful all night. Provided us with a small banquet table for merchandise.

This place was absolutely awesome. We were spending the night here on the way to the Penn State game. They treated us like family and we met everyone at the bar. They have an amazing basement sports bar and the drinks were just as good! Would highly recommend coming here if you’re staying the night in town or just driving through!

The Gridiron is a really cool little hometown bar. The owner is very laid-back and easygoing, and the bartenders are great to get along with. Just recovered the pool table, and it is really fast great table to shoot on! The upstairs food is great and the downstairs pizza shop is awesome! They have the best brick oven pizza around!!! It’s my go to dinner every weekend. Stop in you definitely won’t be disappointed!
