My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at this cute little place in Columbia! The food was delicious, staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was great. You definitely need to try their milkshakes! We would recommend Griddles to anyone looking for a unique place to have lunch.

The food was really good. Although they could have given more fries. My son felt like he barely got any but they were good. The chicken pot pie was amazing down to the thick homemade noodles exactly how I make mine. My wife’s blt she said was really good too. Can’t wait to eat there again. Wish they had their own homemade rolls and bread instead of martins. The bread always makes the sandwich. Just s thought.

Do try the “Susquehanna Toast”. It’s French toast with frizzed dry beef creating an amazing sweet & salty taste experience.
I’ve never ordered a hot dog in a restaurant until I saw theirs. OMG! It’s a large, pure beef, halved dog grilled to perfection and served on a grilled roll.
A customer in the next booth raved about their chicken croquettes. They are oversized, hand rolled and bursting with select chicken meat.
Desert … the owner was careful to select Bassett’s of Philadelphia as their ice cream. I love ice cream and this is by far the best!
I look forward to going again and again until I try all of their amazing dishes.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Always a lovely experience with the staff and every dish we have ever had has been delicious! My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich and the sausage gravy over brioche toast! Everything is so fresh and wonderful quality!

What a great experience visiting Griddles for the first time today. We have been wanting to go here since they opened and finally made it. Delicious food, warm and welcoming employees and lots of old time memorabilia of Columbia that decorates this nostalgic gem of a restaurant. We were very pleased. My omelette was a cheese steak omelette, that had ribeye, sweet peppers, banana peppers, onion, pickles and cheese. It was yummy! Don’t knock it until you try it, I wasn’t sure about having pickles and eggs together but I was very pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I want to try the Shifter Omelette or come for lunch the next time we come.
My whole family enjoyed our experience here. We love supporting local businesses and it’s great to see how far Columbia has come over the years. This place is definitely top on our list of places to give business to in Columbia. Great job Griddles!

So glad I went here! Perfect small place to get some breakfast. My entire meal tasted so fresh, it was delicious. Waitresses were so nice. Got a malt and it was delicious! Family friendly and cute for a date.

Services is great. Very friendly. Ice cream is great as well as milk shakes. French fries we also great. A little disappointed in cheesesteak. Not as good as rest of meal so 1 star downgrade. I would not hesitate to return or recommend.

A really good little place to eat. I had a 1/4 lb cheeseburger and fries. The burger was very tasty and just the right size for my craving ! I ordered with tomato and mayo, and even though it was the end of local tomato season, there was a perfect red & juicy tomato slice on the cheeseburger. The fries were crispy and thinner cut, size wise like McDs but better flavor. The server , Beth was very friendly and helpful. The place is super clean with great old school decor. Oh, almost forgot, I got a small serving of their Bassett’s ice cream. Delicious!! I’ll definitely be back…

I had a steak sandwich with french fries on the side, the person I was with had just a steak sandwich, took a dinner home for family member, got 3 shakes and a iced tea and it was under $60 I thought it was really reasonable. You have to stop to see all the Columbia High School memorialbilia. It’s a great place to stop and just sit and have some ice cream
