Food: Dinde Frite (fried turkey pieces) with plickliz, fried plantain, djon djon rice, and seasonal vegetables
Ambiance: Relaxing, warm, intimate, & cozy
Parking: Free parking lot
Pricing: Items are on the pricier side but they give you large portions.
Flavors: Fried turkey pieces were seasoned well but fried a little too hard. The sauce that accompanied it was also very flavorful and savory. It was a great combo. The fried plantain was fried perfectly, not hard or mushy, and the plantains weren’t too salty. The djon djon rice was also good and had savory and umami flavors. The Soup Joumou was also very flavorful and cooked well (the noodles, potatoes, and vegetables were not under or over cooked); it was savory. The hatian spaghetti also had savory and umami flavors – it wasn’t overpowering but I wish there was a little more seasoning. I enjoyed it though.

Grida has truly cracked the code on Haitian restaurant dining. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and best of all we didn’t have to wait forever for our food (if you know, you know). I mentioned that I have celiac disease, and she thoughtfully pointed me toward what could be prepared safely for me, which ended up being most of the menu. Our entire party of five (two adults and three kids) was very pleased. Overall, it was a great experience.

I visited grida with my friend and we had an amazing experience! It is so cute in there and honestly we were so impressed. The food and drinks were 10/10. I had the cremas colada and it was so good, felt like a vacation. My friend and I shared the griot plate with djon djon, the spaghetti and a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was chefs kiss. Also everyone was so nice and communicative. The music was perfect. I pray that they get more business because this place is a vibeeee

I have nothing but amazing things to say! The food here is delicious and the Haitian music playing in the background, gives it a nice vibe. The first time I came I was able to try the grits oxtail and it was so good! In general, I’m not a fan of goat but I tried my mom’s fried goat she ordered, and it was juicy, flavorful and tasted so good. My mom is Haitian and couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was and kept telling us we need to come at least once a month. The cremas colada is so good as well! We all got different dishes and everyone loved their food! We just went again this weekend, (2 weekends in a row). The cremas cheesecake is so good! I never knew I needed that combination til now. The owner is so sweet and the staff were so attentive. Our waitress made sure to always check in and to make sure we were all set. This is now my go to Haitian spot. If you’re looking for amazing Haitian food and a great vibe, this is the place!

I visited Gridas Restaurant yesterday with a friend and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The menu has tons of cocktail and drink options, and I highly recommend the passion fruit margarita. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious—our eggrolls and akra were perfect, and the black rice with legume was flavorful with plenty of meat, unlike some other places. My friend, who isn’t Haitian, ordered the rice with bean sauce and fried chicken and she loved it. Our waiter checked on us often and the customer service was genuinely great. Overall, this is one of the best Haitian restaurants I’ve been to, and I will definitely be back!

As I starred off, the food was fantastic, the ambience was awesome, the elegance and smell was great. My only criticism and it actually is significant is a staff member. I was there yesterday and the young woman at the door needs a little more training. When I entered she just looked me up and down, no welcome, good evening. I let it go. We sat down and I ordered a legume with beef, however when the food came out I got griot. I told her this isn’t what I ordered and she started debating that I did order griot. In an effort to not complicate things I just accepted it and still enjoyed it. My issue is her trying to debate about something she was wrong and just apologize and accept. I wasn’t going to write this, but thought to myself she has to learn in order to be better. I know she’s young and probably didn’t want to get in trouble and I don’t want her to. Her customer service just needs to be better. Smile, greet properly, get off the phone and be professional. She is the initial face of your establishment. I will return for the record because I love your place, food and just about everything else, but the service with that young woman needs to be better because it can effect your business. Unfortunately Caribbean resturants get a bad reputation with the attitude, and service and I would hate for your resturants to establish that rep too. I write out of love and hope its addressed. Thank you.

Went for the first time tonight and couldn’t have been happier with the results. Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly all with a great atmosphere. We had the shrimp to start and I had the goat and my wife had the oxtail for the mains. Everything was absolutely delicious and even eating all I could still had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. My only regret is not getting a picture of my food before I started to eat so I could attach it here! Will definitely be back so glad to realize this place is close by!
