Adorable place and food was great. They were so patient explaining things and answering questions. Had a yakisoba bowl with chicken and a build your own with steak. Wonderful. Picture is my daughters yakisoba . She ate most before I could snap the pic, so just know, her bowl was pretty full. Definitely price appropriate.

My daughter and I went in today to try this for the first time. We asked for guidance, as we really weren’t familiar with the things on the menu, but we like to try new things. After the young person basically read the menu to us, which we had just stared at for 10 minutes, my daughter ordered steak and chicken hibachi and crab rangoon, and I ordered a Hawaii bowl. Her dinner came out, and the crab rangoon, and we munched in the appetizer while we waited for my bowl. It didn’t come, and didn’t come. I went up to the counter to ask about it, and it hadn’t been made. When it came, it was basically an avocado and rice bowl with a little tuna. So much avacado! And, raw tuna was placed on hot rice, which creates unsafe food temperature. I didn’t eat all of it. I just couldn’t. Daughters food was just ok. Not terrible, but nothing to write home about.

This is a relatively new location. The parking is much better than the the downtown location. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating. It’s very quiet inside so its very relaxing and seems like a good place to work / study quietly and if you need a break you’re right next to the mall. Portion sizes, price and flavor are fair, and it comes in a bowl with lid so you can take it home if u can’t finish it. Will have to try the ramen sometime but I enjoyed my spicy Ahi Tuna bowl.

Tonkutsu Raman is flavorless. Ramen base might as well be plain water and the pork is grilled with no flavor either.

Had the ramen. Enjoyed the pork but average ramen. Still better than ika san but needs to work on soup flavor. Doesn’t have the depth that tonkotsu usually has. Would like to give another chance.

Versatile when it comes to their food. You get to pick what you like on their Pokebowl. I would say cheap for a sashimi quality salmon!

The worst tonkotsu ramen I have ever had. The soup was like the can soup. The noodle was over cooked and broken in pieces. The BBQ pork was dried. If they cannot cook, they should remove it from the menu.

Still good food but the experience used to be much better. They have continued to use smaller bowls and give less protein after raising the prices. People are very nice but the value of going here is diminishing.

Both ladies that took my order and served me my bowl of tonkotsu ramen were very nice. My food was served no more than 2 minutes after placing my order and getting a cup of water at the soda fountain. I really enjoyed my bowl of ramen from start to finish. They really packed my bowl with about 6 or 7 pieces of delicious chashu. With that being said I wish I had gotten more noodles in place of chashu. Its personal preference but I wanted to gorge myself on tasty noodles over chashu but if you’re a lover of pork you will probably favor it more than me. Overall it was delicious from the egg to the green onions and bamboo shoots. If I lived in the area I would for certain visit often, it wasn’t my favorite ramen spot but it definitely scratched the itch.

I ordered the California Poke Bowl and the Crispy Chili Calamari. I have ordered from Grey Whale many times, but this specific time (1/23/23), the food did not settling and I got food poisoning. I’m sad to say this was the last time they will ever get my service after the suffering I had to ensure. Please consider your own personal health before putting your trust in this restaurant. I’ve previously had the ramen which was good flavor but also did not settle well in our stomachs. NEVER AGAIN!!
