Went out to Grexicana for some dinner with friends. The restaurant was still decorated for the holidays which I loved. Decorations were absolutely beautiful. Our server was very kind and attentive. Food was good…a little pricey but that’s everywhere nowadays! The workers let us stay past closing and did not rush us out which was very much appreciated. Apparently they also serve brunch so I hope to come back and try their brunch menu another day. Highly recommend checking out Grexicana if you are craving Greek, Mexican, or both cuisines.

Loved loved loved our weekday dinner here. Awesome interior murals. Clean, spacious. Magic at the right volume to allow for conversations (and be able to hear each other). Eclectic fusion menu – we had to pay attention and put effort into deciding what we wanted because it was refreshingly different from the usual fare.
Food was amazing. Cheese nachos were great for sharing. Kids had Greek burgers with fries . We had shrimp tacos and lamb shank over orzo. I felt the shrimp tacos were the best, wife felt the lamb shank was the best.
Drinks could be priced better – but both the Mexican old fashioned and the mango margarita were pretty good.

I had compiled a list of 10 Farmingdale restaurants, and although all of them were highly acclaimed. There was only one place my tummy craved. Grexicana, a Greek-Mexican restaurant with Mexican and Greek art plastered on its walls, and mystical music lightly comforting the ambiance. It was to my surprise and excitement the place was empty. As if they were waiting for us, and the experience was so nice, like we reserved the restaurant and became part of their family. The service was superb. I didn’t feel guilty asking the waitress for her recommendation, and as I listened intently to her description of the top menu items, I realized a big problem. EVERYTHING SOUNDED SO GOOD. We had the grilled halloumi with carnitas as an appetizer and I loved how familiar the ingredients were to me. Delicious squeaky cheese fried lightly and paired with tasty lamb and sauce. I recommend pairing the hot sauce with the pickled jalapeno and onion.
I loved our entree, the lamb birria over orzo; the orzo served as a shuttle of flavor and the lamb was tender sitting in its juices. There’s nothing a man craves more at the end of the day than tender meat and a juicy trip to flavortown.
My partner had the chorizo pastitsio, a harmonious marriage of Mexican & Greek. The bechemel would slide into the pasta and chorizo, leaving a lingering satisfaction so divine after every bite.
Just when we were about to leave we we were offered Pandora’s box…we opened the dessert menu. Our greatest hits all curated coincidentally into one menu. Churro, icecream, brownies, baklava, cheesecake. I had the baklava cheesecake w/ baklava icecream and my partner had the brownie w/ icecream. The first taste of our plates had our eyes wide, and when we experimented with what we ordered, it was otherworldly experience.
Pricing was fair, and the portion size was exemplary, we came home with plenty of extra plates to share and enjoy for the next day. We want to commend the kitchen staff, the waitress and the waiter who kept our drinks flowing and our laughs going.

Food was delicious! Drinks were tasty & staff were very sweet and took good care of us. Johanna was our waitress and she was great. We’ve been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Our last visit was a Love Island watch party and we got the girl dinner which was a super cute & quirky edition to the special night. We will definitely be back!

Kallie, Billy and their team catered for our holiday party last week at BEDGEAR, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The omelet bar was a huge hit, and the menu was outstanding, including baklava French toast and dulce de leche pancakes. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and genuinely enjoyed by everyone in the company.
We received nothing but positive feedback across the board, not a single complaint (which is hard to come by with a staff of 50+ people). Cali and Billy were both amazing to work with: extremely communicative, accommodating, and attentive throughout the entire planning process and event. They made everything seamless and stress-free.
We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience and would highly recommend them for any event!

If you’re looking for an exciting fusion of flavors, Grexicana in Farmingdale is a must-visit! This Greece-Mexican fusion restaurant delivers unique and delicious dishes that merge the best of both worlds.
The drinks were the perfect start to our meal. The Virgin Mojito was incredibly refreshing with just the right amount of mint and citrus, while the Oreo Shake was a thick, indulgent treat that hit all the sweet notes without being overly heavy.
For appetizers, the Spanakopita Empanada was a clever twist on a classic, with a flaky, crispy exterior and a perfectly seasoned spinach and cheese filling. The Greek Style Nachos were a showstopper—crispy tortilla chips topped with tzatziki, feta cheese, and olives, adding a fresh, tangy layer to every bite. The Street Corn was another highlight, bursting with flavor, charred to perfection, and drizzled with a savory blend of cheeses and spices.
For the main course, the Sizzling Fajita was everything you’d expect from a sizzling platter—tender, flavorful shrimp, served with a side of seasoned beans, rice, and all the classic fixings. The Fresh Black Bean Burger was another winner—juicy, flavorful, and topped with crispy onion rings that added a perfect crunch.
Grexicana’s blend of Greek and Mexican cuisines creates a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with bold, vibrant flavors and thoughtful combinations. The service was excellent, making the meal even more enjoyable. Whether you’re in the mood for something familiar or looking to try something new, Grexicana offers a creative twist on both Greek and Mexican comfort food that’s absolutely worth the visit!

First time dining here and overall a really solid experience. The food was enjoyable — the lemon orzo soup was comforting, the lamb gyro taco had great flavor, and the chicken kebab skewers was cooked well. Drinks were a standout, especially the dirty raspberry martini, which was excellent.
The vibe is casual and relaxed. There were a couple small service hiccups, but nothing that took away from the meal. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely come back again.

I would give Grexicana 10 stars if I could. Went there recently & the food was amazing; the best grilled octopus that I’ve had in NY, perfectly prepared, literally just melted in your mouth & wasn’t chewy at all. Everything we ordered was flavorful & had a nice little Greek or Mexican twist. The decor was eye catching & interesting. Drinks from the bar were great, as was the service. Looking forward to returning & trying more of their dishes. Bravo sas 🙂
