If you’re looking for a place to get your chicken fix, look no further than Greers Chicken! Their tangy mustard chicken chunks are the stuff of legends. I swear, it’s like they’re marinated in gold or something. I can never get enough of that sauce, so I always make sure to buy extra on the side. And the fries? Let’s just say they’re so fresh out of the fryer, they’re practically still sizzling.
But the real star of the show here is the friendly staff and lightning-fast service. When did this place become terrible? I grew up in Bristol & Greers was always a staple for my family. I ordered recently for dinner – chicken chunks (plain and buffalo), a few pieces of fried chicken, fries, onion rings, a roll and cornbread and a slice of cake. The chicken chunks were dry & tasted as if they were either reheated or sitting. The fried chicken was incredibly dry & bland along with the piece that I had tasted off (hoping I don’t get sick!) The fries and onion rings were standard, the cornbread was decent and the roll was a Harvest Bakery roll so with that you can’t go wrong. The slice of cake which was $6.50 for a slice (WOW!) somehow seemed like a mix of cake and cheesecake, the bottom seemed to be a chocolate graham crust with mousse and a very dry cake on top. Overall incredibly disappointed as this is not the same Greers I had grown up on. Will not return… you can get better fried chicken at KFC or Popeyes.

I haven’t been in the area for many years. While much development is a plus, finding local spots to eat was a disappointment. This place was recommended. The environment outside was sketchy, but the inside didn’t do any better. First, the prep areas were disgusting; food was sitting in a bowl in the sink, uncovered. The place smelled like old grease and the scent of an insect. I just walked out after looking around. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to anyone.

Just went this morning when it opened bought 2 piece of chicken mash potatoes and my brother bought fish sandwich coleslaw also cornbread and everything was delicious too bad we swallowed it quickly! It was good! Will go back in the future cause it’s real! Thank you and enjoy your day!

Best fried chicken around. The chicken chunks and chicken basket is crispy and juicy. The coleslaw is sweet and crunchy, chicken salad very flavorful and the sides are decent in sizes in portions.
