I love this place. The staff is great, the food is great, and I literally eat there every day on my lunch break because it is worthy of my 5 star review. It is amazing how much quality food you can get for so little money, and the staff is so pleasant, they make you feel comfortable and provide a truly great dining experience! I’ve tried Greenwood pizza 3 times since the new owners took over. Nothing has been right. Meatball sub and the meatballs were cold. Steak and cheese with hot peppers. No peppers. Now a roast beef sub. Meat was dry and stringy. Plus I asked for onions, hot peppers. Tomatos and pickles. No pickles

First and foremost this place has been under new ownership since January 2021. The quality of food has completely gone out the door with the old owner. Under new staff and management, this business is being run into the ground. They kept the same menu from the last owner but they don’t actually know how to make anything on it. The pizza is mediocre and anything else gets sent wrong. The cook thinks that chicken Caesar wraps have cucumbers in them and that chicken cutlet subs and chicken parm is the exact same thing. I actually heard him yell that from behind the counter. I just feel bad for the delivery drivers who are sent out to face the customers with these constantly botched orders. If i was the owner, i would simply sell the place before he runs it into bankruptcy.

I used to call Greenwood’s all the time when the previous owner was there( the Greek lady), even though she did not know how to talk to customers, but the quality of the food she used was great.
I normally order 3/ large steak and cheese, with Mayo,hot sand pickles. And large cheese pizza.
So last time I called for delivery, first the driver was late, the food was cold because of that, and the steak and cheese subs were plain nothing on them, and also the pizza was burnt. I took a picture and I sent it to the driver, the driver called me to come down stairs from the 7th floor at Colonial points Apartments’s, so that’s how knew his number. any way I called the store and I told the girl who answered the phone about the problem, and she told the owner or the manager what happened, then I Heard him saying that the pizza was a little bit burnt only the cheese on the top. Well I don’t like burnt cheese, also I don’t like my steaks and cheese plain with nothing on it.
I knew it that it was new owner chip and I decided at that point not to call them at all. I used to spend $45-$50 every time I called.
We miss the good food from Green woods
The steak and cheese they use now is the cheapest all fat and not eatable, that 10lb box is $35 where the other good steak is $50 a box , I used to be in the restaurant business and I know exactly what cheep stuff they use.

I love coming here. It’s right at the bottom of the hill where I work so it’s super convenient. Mary, the woman who runs the place runs a tight ship, the food is good and usually pretty quick when ordered.
The pasta dishes in particular are a great bargain for the price. Good chicken finger subs too.

Food is pretty good..owner(older woman) can be nice at times but mostly is very rude when you order or show up a minute or two early to pick up your order. You’d think in the middle of a pandemic someone ordering over $100 worth of pizza a business like hers would be very appreciative. Alfredos of Wakefield has great food and is right down the street with great customer service..just sayin.

I’m always impressed with the from Greenwood House Of Pizza. There are so many great items on the menu and everything that I’ve tried is definitely a step above most of the other restaurants in the area serving similar food. I used to work close by so Greenwood HOP was an obvious choice. However, I now regularly drive from several towns away because nothing comes close to GHOP in terms of quality, freshness, or portions. Plus, Maria the owner and her staff are quite friendly once you get to know them.

I always get the chicken kabob salad. It’s been a while since I’ve been there. I didn’t realize it was under new ownership, but you can tell by the food. The chicken was undercooked and had a different and weird seasoning on it. The pita bread was hard as a rock and the salad dressing was not the balsamic I asked for . Very disappointed
