My friend & I visited Greenhills Restaurant & Mediterranean Grill at 36 Eswin St.. We were warmly greeted my Mr. Oday. He was polite, friendly, patient & full of smiles. The eating area & kitchen were clean & spotless. The food was prepared quickly, served hot/fresh & was delicious! We especially loved the gyro platter with Greek salad & fries, whole chicken wings, hummus & baklava. We plan to return soon for the swai fish platter.

Nice spot, food came out fast and fresh. I try something new grape leaves and falafel they was great. My wings was well seasoned just cooked to long. Owner provided amazing service. Plenty of food for the price. Will be back

The owner is really nice. I have ordered here 3 times now. First time i ordered the price was different online than in store when I payed. The lemon pepper wings had good flavor but was fried way too hard for my liking. It was dry. Second time was the same. I decided to give them another try a few days ago and wanted to do the “ $1 wing special” so i ordered 10 wings over the phone i decided to try different flavors so i did hot, bbq, and lemon pepper. When i went to pick them up he said it was $15 for 10 wings. He said “ there is a $5 up charge for more than 1 sauce” that is fine if that’s what they want to charge but i feel like i should of been told the up charge over the phone. I wouldn’t have done the extra sauce flavors. I would have just picked one. Once again they were too hard. But like I said, he is a super nice guy but that was just my experience.

The owner had a very friendly conversation with me about his menu, and recommended the gyro platter. So I got one of those with all the trimmings, plus rice and salad.
Food wise: INCREDIBLE. I know heaps of places in NY and LA that do gyros and schwarma and since moving here a month ago I was uncertain if I would find an equivalent. I am happy to report the gyro here is 100% worth your time and attention.
Service is equally excellent.
Atmosphere wise: this is a small diner setting. I am less concerned with visual interest and more concerned with cleanliness. To this end, the place is immaculately clean, and has a very cool hole-in-the-wall vibe.
Awesome food. Best advice is to choose here if you want a very good meal for a good price.

Ordered the fish plater, side of rice and fries. Was ask if I wanted 2 or 3 pieces of fish said 3 this was the 2nd mistake, was charged $5:00 more for 1 fish, was charged $2:00 for some sauce I did not get. A $13.00 lunch turned into $20.00. Tasted bad, over spiced fish, tasted like cinnamon on the rice, the only thing normal was the mushy fries.

Amazing food, friendly staff, awesome service. Even though I don’t come here often, it’s one of my favorite restaurants. I love the gyros and usually get that, but today I tried the wings, and they were SO good. The wings were big, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly (I will dream about them). I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to try it out.

Jan. 2026: Short review – Excellent food. Superb flavors and very fresh. Long review – Today I got the Vegetarian platter. Excellent food. Superb flavors. Platter comes with 3 Falafel, 3 grape leave wraps (homemade,) Baba Ganoush (eggplant) (also homemade and excellent) a nice Greek salad and 4 quarters of pita bread. All is very fresh and I got a little hot sauce and Tzatziki. Her Gyro wrap was stuffed and made just as she likes it. They are careful and attentive people. I will try the fish platter next time. I highly recommend them.

Just moved into the area and this is quickly becoming my favorite place. Have been looking for good authentic grape leaves in Cincinnati for 10 years and these are hands down the best, along with anything else I’ve tried. And the fattoush salad is out of this world. Don’t leave without trying his homemade hot sauce also!!! The owner is an absolute delight and so friendly. I can’t wait to try everything else. If you’re looking for great Mediterranean this is the place.
