We’ve never experienced such a rude apathetic and vindictive manager, and we eat out alot! Name, possibly Corine H. at least it was the name on the receipt. If not, I apologize!
Manager took orders and served us however! She was short-spoken, curt, and unimpressed with requests such as “eggs very soft, please.”
Prob why the Eggs Benedict dish was cold, and eggs were definitely not soft.
Manager had offered a coffee refill at one point, but took off so quickly and never once questioned anyone as to satisfaction with their meals.
She never returned until time to pay the check. In the meantime, however, still thinking someone would eventually check on our table, I went ahead and ate the tiny $4 (including tip) side dish of fruit that came with my meal. (See pic)
At time of paying the bill, when all others had finished their meals, I informed the manager that my dish was cold and eggs were over-cooked, so could she please take it off the check? As she left, she spouted out “I’m still charging you for the fruit, and I would’ve fixed your eggs when I offered a coffee refill, but you never said anything.” Wow!
Needless-to-say, no tip was left and it’ll be a long time before we return. If and when we do, you can bet we’ll make sure the unprofessional manager will not be serving us!
Chicken fried steak- We try these everywhere we go! While it’s not the best or worst I ever had, nothing to write home about here. Gravy was basic sausage gravy, would like a little more flavor.
Breakfast potatoes weren’t seasoned well, very bland, some were crispy others were not.
The biscuit was AMAZING!! This was the one item that really stood out to us.
Chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy and warm!
Our servers were great, we did have to remind the hostess we were in line. She started sending multiple tables back that arrived well after us and same party size (2). They seated us immediately after we inquired on if we were still on the list.
Atmosphere was great. Booth was clean. It was quite chilly in the restaurant the whole time, but other than that a pleasant atmosphere.
