Green Sage Cafe had a great variety of vegan options, and I appreciated being able to customize my wrap just how I wanted it. There was a short wait for our food, but nothing unreasonable—and it was worth it! The pancakes were massive and looked delicious.
While I stuck with water, they offered a variety of specialty drinks. The restaurant was clean with plenty of indoor seating and a covered outdoor patio that’s perfect for pet-friendly guests. Located in a shopping complex with lots of public parking, it was easy to get in and out. Definitely a convenient and satisfying stop!
I had an outstanding experience at this healthy brunch spot! The service was impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff that made me feel welcomed. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly nutritious, with a menu that catered to a variety of dietary preferences. (I was able to get what I wanted because of my non-healthy appetite for last 3 days)
The location was perfect as I took a bus from the airport and only walked for 3-4 minutes. As I also wanted to work for hours, the place had more than enough space and I saw others like me enjoying their work.
Overall, the experience was exceptional – from the moment I walked in to the last bite of my healthy meal. This brunch spot seamlessly combines service, quality food, location, and an overall memorable experience because of their knowledgeable staff.
With this new year, I made a personal commitment to only patronize organic restaurants. So, googling is how I found this one.
I was mostly very impressed with my first visit. It’s a place with some very cute window seating areas. The cafe has a nice gluten-free dessert sampling, and the Zen Bowl was very tasty!
My only drawback was after we ordered and sat down. The worker up front was coughing open mouthed. My viewpoint is, if workers around food are sick, they need to be at home.
And, if they have a chronic cough with no other symptoms, still, do not cough open-mouthed. Wear a mask!
I was hoping that the worker was not sick, but he may have been. I went in wearing a mask, but of course took it off to eat.
And a purchased a cookie from the bakery case which is open to the work area.
GSC is one of three places I went, and now I have flu symptoms. I don’t know if I picked up something there, but it’s suspect considering the worker delivered our food to the table and had his finger millimeters from the Tofu in my Bowl.
Which leads me to another point, servers need to watch how they carry food. I had a Bowl. There was no need to carry it by the Tofu. There were plenty of other areas to pick it up by.
I love the restaurant concept, and will be back, but it will be quite a while! Probably in spring, when flu season is over.
I got the breakfast burrito with sausage while my husband ordered the farmers omelet with veggie sausage.
The burrito was a little too heavy on the beans and while smile bites of red onion would be ok, large chunks of undercooked onion is off-putting. The sauce that was served with the burrito was delicious; however, the flavors of the burrito itself were not balanced.
The omelet with veggie sausage was just disgusting. My husband was wondering what a pink mush in his omelet was as he was not enjoying it. I took a bite and immediately spit it out. It was a cold soy based unidentifiable substance. The root hash that came with his omelet was under seasoned. The best on his plate was the toast, but they gave more butter and very little jam.
Though I enjoyed the company of my husband in one of the rare times we are able to get away by ourselves, it was definitely not worth the money. I would have given zero stars if possible.
