Probably the best traditional red sauce I’ve ever had on a pizza. The pepperoni pizza is a thing of beauty. Super nice people, great service and good food. The only possible criticism I have is that sometimes the pizzas are so laden with ingredients that they are slightly undercooked.

Green Peppers has a great system for ordering from their menu. We love to option to select “My Usual”. The app is easy to use. The orders are delivered curbside. The parking lot is a great place to people watch or chill in my car with music and something to read. Not having to stand and wait for a takeout order is great for someone like me with a difficulty walking is appreciated. And there’s a ramp for easier accessibility!

Insanely expensive pizza, pickup only, not the best. I always order the pizza here “crispy” because they tend to undercook the pizza, and every time it’s just barely cooked. You need two hands to hold one slice because it is so wet and floppy. That is not crispy. $4/topping is INSANE guys. Dominos is the better deal and that is not a fun thing to have to say. Please improve

Editing my review and adding some photos. I ordered online via their website which was very easy and user friendly. I found out by doing so that you can request specifics about your pizza, like thin crust, extra sauce, crispy, doughy, etc. That’s pretty awesome! I still think the mozz sticks are very bland and the pizza is fine. Loved the fries as they are fresh cut and thick. Chicken is good too. It’s a decent place for sure, but not mind-blowing.
I wish they would reopen dine-in though. I never lived here pre COVID and I’ve heard they used to be open later with a great dine-in experience. Wish I could know for myself! Still a good place and convenient location.

There’s absolutely no reason two large pizzas with mushrooms, chicken and black olives should cost $66. And I can’t even sit down at a table. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place, which is a shame, because it used to be my favorite restaurant before Covid.
I expect this place to close in a couple years.

It’s is carry out only and you can’t really go inside, other than to order. They bring the food outside for you to grab from them. The young man that helped us order was very nice, but the pizza was pretty underwhelming and the crust was 100% premade. Also pretty expensive, $34 for an average size specialty pie. Not many places in Middlebury to get quality pizza…

…but I’m writing this review to encourage Green Peppers to change their wings. A breaded buffalo wing is a travesty. It might just be because I’m pregnant with gestational diabetes and starving constantly but I swear I almost cried when I opened the wings and saw that they were breaded, which meant I couldn’t eat them. Okay that felt a little unhinged to write, but I still think I’m right!

Great experience. I was in town with my three kids for the eclipse. At first we had a difficult time finding a restaurant that was open on Sunday evening. We were so happy to find green peppers. We walked in close to closing time and the staff was as friendly as can be. Looked through the menu with us and help pick appropriate size meals. Being New Yorkers we have had bad experiences ordering pizza when out of state and usually avoid it, but this day we did order the pizza. It was amazing!!! My kids said it was one of their favorite things about our trip. We came back for more pizza for lunch the next day. We also had their chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. All were fresh and delicious. Very reasonable prices.
