Welcoming all plant-curious eaters! We serve health and comfort vegan/vegetarian food. Favorites include our vegan chick’n wings, TLT sandwich, infamous hollyhock salad dressing and house made cashew cheese. Rotating burgers served throughout the week satisfy all those who crave new flavor combinations ranging from PBJJ burger to our kimchi roasted veggie burger. Our baker really puts the cherry on top serving house made vegan desserts including chocolate lava cake, cheesecake, and house made ice cream treats! Everything from our appetizers to dessert are vegan and some items can be made vegetarian by adding dairy cheese upon request!

The all vegan/vegetarian menu was amazing! The fried oyster mushroom po’ boy was everything I loved in a vegan po’ boy. The vegan buffalo wings were delicious esp with whatever kind of ranch they use. And the Alfredo with the cashew cheese was excellent. My only critique was the server looked very annoyed when I asked them a question about to go boxes which I guess are inside for guests to grab but as we were sat and served on the patio, we didn’t know that. But looking past that, the food is everything I hoped for and sitting on the patio on a spring evening was so nice. Will totally eat here again!

Green Owl Cafe? They slingin’ the best vegetarian sandwiches this side of anywhere. Straight up, their veggie game’s got more flavor than grandma’s Sunday cookout. Every bite of their sandwich is like a veggie festival in your mouth. Makes you forget all about meat, swear on everything! They got that good stuff that makes you wanna shout from the rooftops, “Veggies rule, fam!”

First time trying the Green Owl Cafe and we were not disappointed! We got the tofu banh mi with kale crisps to go, and it was DELICIOUS. Perfectly toasted bread, juicy tofu, crispy veggies, and the perfect amount of garlic aioli. We will be coming back to dine in next time!

Green Owl is a go-to spot for when I want to impress vegan friends and family in town. I had the TLT with avocado and kale chips and everything tasted amazing, especially for a non-vegan like myself. Our whole party was impressed with the quality of the food. It was a beautiful night to sit on the patio and I will be back for sure.

So good that we went twice while visiting Madison this past weekend. Vegan heaven I loved the loaded nachos so much I got them both times. My husband got the bánh mi and philly sandwiches and really enjoyed both. We also loved the vegan cookies. Will be back on our next trip to Madison!
