Absolutely delicious tonkatsu ramen, delightfully crispy gyoza, kind and attentive service. Was so delicious I completely forgot to take a picture of the food but the atmosphere was so cozy I snagged a couple pics. Warming oolong and soup for such a cold night! The people here are so generous and community minded and their organic house made noodles are incredible. Highly recommend!

This ramen shop was located in a building that feels like a community center with a pool table and table tennis. We came on a Saturday for lunch and lots of families came with their kids and clearly were customers who were familiar with the hostess. We got a tonkatsu ramen and a chicken curry rice bowl and gyoza. The ramen broth was very porky and flavorful. The local vegetables were a nice touch. The curry bowl was okay but came a bit cold. Gyoza was delicious.

I ordered online.
The delivery was quick, but the food was average at beast. I could make better at home.
Pros: Good portion with soup and add Ons.
Cons: Oily broth. Bland. Stiff noodles. Small dessert portion.
when i ordered a slice of pumpkin pie it was so small I thought it was not only a joke, but that they mistook me for a starving runway model. On top of that it was very soggy and mushy. The pie slice was 5 dollars and only 3 or so inches long.
I wont be back.

Tonkotsu ramen was exactly how I like it done: broth not overly salty or oily, and char siu with a slightly crispy texture outside. You can tell the veggies are of high quality too, as I got to know they are from nearby organic farms.
Jane & Ken are both awesome humans to talk to, it’s a relatively new restaurant and they’re working hard to gain more awareness in the community. I highly recommend this place to any local or visitor in town!

The food is wonderful, and the staff are awesome and friendly. The ramen was pretty good, my wife had the pork chashu rice bowl and it was amazing. We ordered two additional bowls to go because it was that good.
Pro tip: If you’re looking for the ramen place, go up the steps from the main entrance and walk further into the hall passageway. You’ll find it towards the back!

The ramen was FIRE!
When you walk into this place you may think you’ve accidentally tripped on mushrooms and landed in the twilight zone but don’t worry you’re in the right place. I mean this in the most positive way possible. A strangely wonderful experience.
I would come back and eat that ramen over and over and over. The noodles were delicious. I don’t know if it was the owner that brought our food to us but she was so kind. It was busy and she apologized for the wait which was a completely reasonable wait time.
We are from out of town but I would imagine this is a wholly Vermont experience and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Will be back next time we are in town.

I ordered a small bowl of Chicken Ramen Soup & added a little Sriracha & sesame seeds on top. Everything in it was great. The noodles, the veggies, etc. The highlights for me was the broth it was in & the chicken. Staff was friendly & the atmosphere was nice. Will be coming back to try more.

My family just celebrated a big shared birthday celebration at the Heart Rose Club on Sunday. Jane and Ken of Green Mountain Ramen were fantastic in providing the phenomenal food and service for our gathering of nearly 25 people. The food was prepared with meticulous care and served fresh and fabulously seasoned and presented. My guests loved the food and the location. We had lots of room to eat and chat comfortably in the dining space, as well as, cozying up in the living room conversation spaces. I can’t say enough good things about this gem in downtown Brattleboro, VT. The Heart Rose Club and Green Mountain Ramen are a great choice for your next gathering!

Go eat ramen here. Its not only great ramen made by a japanese chef and owner, but sits within The Heart Rose Club, which is a community space that used to be a dance studio. This gives it an experience of entering into someones home, as they cook ramen for you. The homemade ramen noodles were the best part and packed tons of flavor. Even the vegan option my wife got, had a really nice flavorful mushroom broth. This is also “pay what you can” ramen. This means it puts the value perceived on the customer , which is a different model, but philosophically allows anybody to come and try this experience regardless of what money they do or don’t have with the expectation that hopefully when they can, they will full price. It goes against capitalism, and for me, that is something unique and worth checking out. This is a welcome addition to the community and the best ramen within a 100 mile radius.

This is a lovely ramen establishment located inside the Heart Rose Club in Brattleboro. I have been ordering from here for a couple of months and this is some of the best Ramen in southern VT. The owner and staff are extremely kind and assure me that they are built on both communal and neighborly values. This place is not only one I want to continue to go to for delicious food, but to support a heart of the community in hopes of watching the establishment and everyone there grow. Thank you for bringing such a gem to this little town <3
