Very typical Green Mill decor. I thought prices for beer (bottle or tap) were higher than expected. It was very unexpected that they closed at 10:00 p.m. but the bartender did last call at 9:30 p.m. and was rushing people out the door because they wanted to be out the door by close. Not very professional and has guaranteed that I will not visit this location again.

I disagree with Mark Gjertson, I was there the same night with my work colleagues and bartender did last call at 10pm and was gracious enough to let us finish our meeting until 10:30pm. I do remember this gentlemen being vulgar towards the waitstaff. I will return as the waitstaff was the best I have had since being in Minnesota for work.

We went there for a dinner on Sunday. Not late. We got there waited 20-30 mins for a server then when they did show they said they were out of bread for the dinners and no lobster. I got a burger, daughter had chicken tenders, and wife had a seafood pasta. They said they were just gonna double up on shrimp, because no lobster which was fine. It took an hour to get our food, and it was dead. My burger was cold and bland. There was little shrimp if any. The daughter had her tenders, but they weren’t great either. My wife and I were not happy and only tasted the bland food, and returned it. We tried to talk to a manager and discuss it, but they didn’t talk to us the server was a go between. The offered a small discount, but we returned our food without eating any. We said we would pay for our daughter’s meal and that was it. The server was okay, and not their fault. I am a very easy going dinner and I’m not fussy. This was the worst meal I have ever had out. Be ware. This was the first and only time I would ever go.

I have dined at The Green Mill Restaurant & Bar several times when visiting New Ulm. The restaurant is adjacent to the Best Western Plus hotel, so no need to leave the property for dinner and drinks. Everything I have tried has been very good. My colleagues and I all like their pizza & wings, but my favorite is probably the pan seared walleye. I will definitely return the next time I’m in town.

I actually tipped $0.00 on a $30 bill. Normally is have tipped 25%-33% but I came here for a few beers and some pizza, but the server never came back to ask me if I wanted a second beer. I finally got my pizza after an hour.

Disappointing overall. Food and staff wasn’t good. Fries soggy. Burger bun was wet from the grease . Cheese wasn’t even melted and the bacon they use is as bad as fast food bacon. Burger looked as if was slung together. The place had only a few people so there was no need to hurry. I could here constant yelling, bickering and swearing from the waitresses and kitchen staff. Only plus was my waiter was nice and the beer was good

We love this restaurant and we keep going back for their deep dish pizza. Definitely a big fan of their spicy hot boneless Jamaican wings. The Desert Fire Pasta has nice flavor and the Calzones are wonderful as well. Overall good atmosphere and great food.

Have an ex who works there. My best friend ordered some pizza to go. so obviously her name was on there. and we all ate, are all throwing up, loose stools. all because of a custody issue. shows the type of people working there! be careful.
