The Green Lantern is an old school, neighborhood bar and pizza parlor. We invite you to make yourself at home and take-in a relaxed atmosphere where the walls are filled with sports memorabilia and old family photos… just like home. Making pizza is a family tradition that goes back 55 years when Thomas and Irene Vettraino bought an old farmhouse bar along with its green lantern. They passed along their savory pizza recipe to their daughter, Marlene, who is the present owner. She, along with everyone here, works hard to ensure that every pizza pie is a culinary delight made with love that leaves a lasting impression from the very first, mouth-watering bite.

The food was tasty, but their sandwich was really small compared to the pizza. I understand they’re known for their pizza, but at least make what someone is spending their money on worth the price. My group was nice to share a couple of slices of pizza with me since I was still hungry. Our waiter was very nice and did a great job keeping our coffee and waters supplied!

First time here. Only drawback upon entering was we had to walk through a cloud of second hand smoke plus a burning cigarette that a smoker just threw onto the ground. We were seated without any waiting and our server was at our table within 1 minute. Ordered the pickle chips which were awesome! We had a large pizza which was cooked as we had ordered it. From the first bite it was apparent why The Green Lantern is so good, the obviously cut their own pepperoni, and the mushrooms were fresh. Perfect balance of cheese/sauce which made the pie excellent.

Great food awesome service. Attentive but not overbearing. As a restaurant manager myself there are small details that most won’t notice and take nothing away from the experience. Also, looking back at other reviews it’s great to see that managers look for input to improve the overall quality.

I always go here for pizza, it’s some of the best pizza and I’ve been getting it here for years. Their large lantern bread is also super cheesy and is basically the size of a medium pizza. Sign up for their emails as they give you a bday pizza and once in a while they send coupons for a free pizza too! I’ve also been here for trivia nights which is fun.

Amazing as usual. I have never had a bad experience at Green lantern. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Cheese bread is definitely one of the best around. Their square pizza…… Slappin!!! Thee rest of their menu is just as good. Definitely a must go if you haven’t been there.

I have been coming to Green Lantern every Thursday since November 2022. It started for trivia, but I have gotten to know the staff, and they are most excellent!! The wait staff is very friendly and pretty much knows my order. Shout out to Chanda and her staff (Tara, Jenny, Marcus and the rest!)
