Good, homemade Chinese food! The staff was friendly, the food was de-lish, the price was right AND they offer take out! You will not be disappointed when comfort food is what you’re craving. The decor could be jazzed up a bit but the fast, friendly, attentive service and the food makes it worth it! Stop in and give them a try. The BEST Chinese food hands down. The reason I say this is they use white rice and fry it with soy sauce to make their fried rice. Why does this matter? You ever let your rice get cold and try to reheat it? You know how it gets hard like plastic? Well their rice you can even eat cold and it’s super soft. Try it once and you’ll never eat another Chinese place again! Promise you that!

I liked how the egg fried rice wasn’t packed with bean sprouts. The fried dumplings were a little flimsy but tasted really good. The sweet n sour chicken was sweet n sour chicken. Delivery was quick, less than 30 minutes after I called in my order. Most places around here take over an hour.

I don’t give out 5 stars easily, but this place deserves it! The fried rice is best in the area because they make it fresh and without food coloring or whatever else other Chinese restaurants put in theirs to make it orange/yellow! Fresh food. Husband and wife super duo team makes the area’s best egg foo yung and their Mongolian Beef is great and isn’t mostly onion like some other place I won’t name in Georgetown IL. Green Island’s food isn’t overwhelmed with garlic like the one at Towne Center is either. Hope this helps those who read this on their culinary journey!

Had a 1yr and a 2yr old never got offended a plate for either one. Dirty dishes from 3 previous customers on tables around us. Not to mention Sticky tables asked for rag which was sticky and dry. Food was okay. 7$ for a small serving.
