Located south of downtown Nashville, the restaurant is a both local hangout and a destination of choice for those visiting the Green Hills neighborhood.A beloved Nashville go-to spot for 20 years, the original Green Hills Grille closed in 2008 but was reopened in 2015 by restauranteur Steven Smithing. Its California-revival casual, but classic, high-quality fare make GHG excellent for any occasion. Ventured over to Green Hills Grille for dinner. Glad I did. I ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower as an appetizer. It had the right spice and kick. There were other added vegetables that were a nice compliment to the cauliflower. I ordered the Lemon Artichoke Chicken as my entree. The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection. The lemon artichoke sauce was savory and was a nice compliment for the grilled chicken. I switched out the broccoli and mashed potatoes for a side salad and grilled asparagus. Becka was my server and she was amazing! Her cocktails were made to perfection based on my personal taste. I love the atmosphere and service here. I will be returning to try other items on the menu.

I have never had a bad experience at Green Hills Grille. Food was wonderful. Waiter was excellent. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Make sure to save room for dessert.

I brought family here for dinner bc I didn’t want to take them to a chain restaurant and figured some of the other restaurants would be packed with tourists. This was my second time eating here and I’m glad I brought my family here! All the plates we ordered were delicious. They have an happy hour special mid afternoon which has a large selection of half price appetizers. My server was even nice enough to bring us a complimentary dessert since it was everyone’s first time eating there but myself! It was a nice added surprise and this will definitely be a place I continue to bring people. Pictured dishes: fish tacos, shrimp and grits, enchiladas!

Got the goat cheese salad and chicken penne. SO good. The salad was already tossed and the meal came out QUICK even though the place was packed. Will come again!

Appreciate that Green Hills Grille always has vegetarian options that can be made vegan. They could definitely step it up a notch and offer fully vegan options on their menu. I always get the chips and guacamole and the tacos when I go there. The tacos are a bit too greasy, but otherwise the food is really good! I also love the ambiance of the back patio.
