Something changed at The Chatterbox and it is all for good. New(ish) owners have added The Green Eggs Cafe menu to the existing Chatterbox menu bringing an assortment of great choices for breakfast or lunch.
The crazy-good milkshakes, lots of French toast options, fresh salads, and oh the cheesesteak are fun and tasty. Prices are under 20 bucks for nearly everything and if the sounds like a lot, the portion sizes make each dish worth the price.
We had given up on the ‘old’ Chatterbox and are super happy to see the revived version.

This was delicious! The service was very attentive and nice! Food came out quick. I would go back. My only thing is the amount of food could be a little smaller for the price to be lower on the sweet breakfast menu

We came here on a Sunday and service was great! We were seated right away and got our food quickly as well. Everything tasted AMAZING, the portions were also huge. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely come back again.

The food was exceptionally tasty, both the savory and sweet options.
The portions were very large on everything we saw brought out so come here if you’re hungry or okay with having leftovers for later.
They were packed full at 10am on a Sunday, it took 15+ minutes for a waiter to come by with boxes/the check after we finished eating which was the only low mark on the experience. They do have a large number of tables both indoors and outdoors whichever your preference.

If you are in Ocean City NJ, you should plan to stop at the Green Egg Cafe, The service was good. My kids each got the silver dollar panckaes with a side of bacon. The bacon was out of this world good, pan fried. I got The Kitchen Sink which was: three eggs scrambled with sausage crumbles, gruyere cheese, potatoes, topped with sausage gravy, jumbo biscuit, in a cast iron skillet and my wife got the Breakfast Burrito in a habanero tortilla with eggs, corn, pork chorizo, tex mex cheese, peppers, and onions, topped with pico de gallo, sour cream, and avocado salsa, served with roasted red pepper black bean sauce. It was so much food for us that we all took some back to our place. Just know that it is very expensive. For a family of four we paid $80 including the 20% tip. The only complaint I had was; I don’t like green peppers, but love onions. The Kitchen Sink come with peppers and onions so I asked for no peppers and was told that they come together or nothing. It would’ve been so much better with onion. I still give the food 5 stars and will be back nex year. My advise for you is to go to the Green Egg Cafe for breakfast if you are in OCNJ.

In my opinion, about as good as it gets. Green Eggs Cafe has high end food with mid range prices. And my portion was huge. I got the Creole shrimp and grits. It was served in a cast iron skillet. The grits were smooth and creamy, shrimp nicely seasoned with a Cajun/Creole spice. The eggs were a little runny, but that was the only thing that wasn’t absolutely perfect.
Service was very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. While it’s not “fast” on a Saturday morning, the wait is absolutely reasonable, and the food is worth it. Even the house coffee was good.
There is a paid parking lot across the street if you or any of your guests have mobility issues.

The food we had was not good, we expected better. Even if the prices were half of what they were, still would have been a disappointment. Table was dirty and service was slow and not attentive, took forever to get coffee refills. The eggs were overcooked, french toast and waffles were dry. I don’t know why you would come here in a town with so many other breakfast options.

It’s funny that reviews are saying this was a 5 star experience. This was not even close. Bagels with enough cream cheese for a half of the bagel and then waiting until everyone else is done eating for a server to come even check. No refills of any drinks, including water. I don’t know if that was by design or lack of service. “Kitchen Sink” which is a go to staple when at the Philly locations was small and overwhelmingly potatos. Then they hit you with a service fee that no one seemed to know why but was more than what a 20% tip would have been. It has a limited menu in comparison to the other locations and the old Chatterbox building seems to still be under renovation. Hard Pass considering all the other amazing options in OC.

Awesome new place for breakfast. It is in Chatterbox restaurant. I ordered French Toast, and it came out looking like a work of art. And it tasted as good as it looked. Service was quick and friendly.
