Ive passed by this restaurant for years and never bothered to visit. After hearing it was the spot where the actual Greek community frequents, I decided it was finally time to give it a shot.
So first off, it’s important to note that this a sit down. The exterior and my familiarity with places like Big Greek or Marathon made me assume this was carry-out, but no this is definitely a place you should dine in. The menu is small (green flag for sure) and I had to get the platter since I didn’t see a wrap version which is always my go to.
Well… They clearly know whats best. The ingredients and quality are unmatched by even my favorite take out gyro spots. Also great and super attentive service. Will definitely return. Super impressed.

Visited on a Friday lunch, so only a few other customers. Service was attentive and food was ready quickly. Flavors were good and price was reasonable.

We had an amazing dining experience during dinner on a Monday. The whole lavraki was perfectly cooked, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The chicken kabob was tender and juicy, with just the right balance of spices, and the Athenian chicken was absolutely delicious, full of rich, savory flavor. The service was excellent, very attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of. Great food, great quality, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with our holiday dinner outing here! The staff handled our party of ten professionally, the service was swift and friendly, and the food was fantastic! I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because this place is tucked away in a shopping center, but it was otherwise very nice and well kept on the inside. Can’t recommend them enough!

We used to live in the area and loved eating here. Recently, while driving to VA, we decided to stop for dinner. Nothing had changed in thirteen years and it was so good to be back! I mentioned something to – I suspect- the owner- and they even gave us free dessert! The food tasted home made with generous portions. Atmosphere peaceful- with quiet Greek music. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!!

Don’t underestimate the greatness of this place based on its humble location and signage. Excellent food made with simple, authentic ingredients. It feels like you are eating your grandmother’s food in Greece. One of the tastiest meals I have had in the DMV. I particularly enjoyed the mezze, like grilled octopus, giant white beans (gigantes) and tzatziki. Must return soon to work my way through more the of the menu. Service was also super warm and friendly. Recommend!

Huge shoutout to Greek Village for letting them host our partner appreciation event. They were extremely attentive and friendly the whole time there. We actually overstayed a good while past closing and they were still friendly throughout the night. The atmosphere is splendid with incredible decorations throughout. We had the stuffed grape leaves which tasted EXTREMELY Greek and authentic to their culture. A lot of places just use the culture as a gimmick but this place is really true to its roots and shows respect and appreciation. Food was great, would recommend!

This place was awesome – we stopped in somewhat late-ish while visiting the area a few weeks ago. The platters were huge, the food was delicious, and the folks who own/run it were a joy. I’m a sucker for Greek food, and i could’ve eaten a whole plate of the lemon potatoes.

Good food, good prices and good service! We are meat this time, but we plan to try the fish next time. The kids dinner was $6 and had a lot of food for that price (see photo). We will definitely go back!
