We were there 3 times, it was close to our hotel. Taste food. Good and fast service. At weekdays it was not full. Affordable price. Amazing portions, just look at that.

I applaud Greek Taverna for offering Skordalia. It is very hard to find these days and traditional. I ordered just this alone via Uber eats for $20 (driver tip included) as a small treat. It was a tad more bland than I expected tasting a bit more like garlic mashed potatoes. The garic ratio was spot on! But It could have used lemon or vinegar for a tang that was not evident as well as a drizzle of good oil and spared some herbs on top. Perhaps more emulsified and more potatoe flavor bc I have made instant mashed potatoes with garlic similarly before. I had met the employees in the past and know they are Greek so it disappointed me that the standard was not giving us the best instead of the least and to do a taste test. Then again not many people seem to order it so perhaps that is why it may have been overlooked as important. As one of the few places who offer it, its important. I really enjoyed how fresh and chewy their pitas were. Effcharisto!

We have been coming to this Greek taverna in Edgewater for about 8 years, and it’s just as good as I remembered. The service was excellent—our waiter was attentive, polite, and happy to answer all of our questions. The portions are generous and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will definitely be coming back!

Super delicious!!! Had lunch here on a Sunday (no wait time) and ordered the salmon dish from the small plates part of the menu – decent size and filling. The veggies included a blend of carrots eggplant and zucchini. All delicious!!! The salmon was done medium well, they asked how I preferred it although it seemed a bit over cooked on the end. However the flavor was there. The rice was seasoned well; good portion, not too much, just right! We also had the Turkish coffee and baklava for dessert. In my opinion baklava as a dessert is always too sweet. I chose the walnut over the pistachio option. Love that they offer you naan bread while you wait, may want to order a side of tzatziki to go with it though. Server and staff were super polite and attentive.

Very pleasantly surprised about this place. Food was great (had chicken and gyro), big portions. Ambiance was very mediterranean. Music was not loud. Will definitely make this a go to for Greek food!

I Always a pleasure to go to the Greek Taverna. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and the food was amazing. we asked for the seafood platter and the bronzini (fish) no bones, Marulosalata ( I think that’s the name… sorry), but it was AMAZING. On point. Our waitress was so kind and polite she was really nice at the moment to bring the dessert and surprise my hubby. AS ALWAYS THANKS for the amazing food and time

First when we went inside the smell was not good! It is not inviting and it was like burnt frying smell!! Than about meal its not the best. Salt made me drink loads of water and was hard to sleep!

This Greek restaurant has been in Edgewater for about 10 years and it’s just as good as I remembered. The service was excellent as the waiter attended to our needs and answered our questions in a polite fashion. The portions are large and delicious. You may bring your own wine and enjoy your meal with a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Definitely a return.

I love Greek food and appetizers, but not every restaurant can do it well. The flavors here were above average. The staff looked tired as I went in the evening but gave friendly and good service. I don’t know why, but the decoration was a little bad for me. I wanted to eat my food and get up right away. their desserts were good but they shouldn’t put cinemon on it when serving cappuccino. You can come to try it.
