Social Profile:

Greek Souvlaki was founded in 1972 by Lee and Mary Paulos. They were the first to bring yeeros (gyros) to Utah. It was a family visit back to Greece that sparked the idea of a restaurant. Lee’s brother, Tasos Petropoulos, owned a small restaurant serving yeeros in Pireaus and Lee noticed that the tourists loved them. At first, Greek Souvlaki only sold three items: yeeros (gyro), souvlaki, and beefteki. The red sauce was the specialty sauce, in fact white sauce was added many years later! With Mary’s home made recipes and Lee’s inventive and creative mind, they added many other items to their menu. The business has grown with two additional stores since Lee and Mary retired in the year 2000. Great customer service, good quality products, …

I wanna preface this by saying that the cashier was absolutely wonderful. He was very nice and kind. But I spent $36 for some of the worst Greek food I’ve ever had. The dolma were soggy and tasted old. The gyro meat tasted old and had a weird consistency, and my fries were soggy. Normally I love this place, and the price is usually justified. But not this time. Very disappointed.

This is a fantastic place to get Greek Food. We have been through the Drive Thru many times. Today our Order Taker was Jonathan T. He was quick, efficient and verified our order. Jonathan was also very patient when we modified our order at the window. As for the food I must express my great apperication for my Excellent Gyro getting triple wrapped for the journey home. My Gyro doesnt get crushed and is absolute perfection with both Red And White Sauce.
I very much enjoy their Lemon Rice as well. Whomever makes sure my Gyro is so carefully wrapped is My Hero!!!

I have been coming to this place for nearly 40 years. Back in the days when it was just called the Greek Shish kebob. Food is excellent. I like being able to have the option of getting a Yuro with red sauce instead of just white sauce like all the other places. The shish kebobs aren’t as flavorful as they used to be, but they are still very good. It’s the downside to this place. Is the price you get a decent sized portion But, it costs a mini fortune. Definitely good food, but certainly not a value.

Absolutely love this place. The Greek souvlaki is consistently amazing. I always order the double chicken souvlaki with lemon rice, and it never disappoints—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked every time. Portions are solid and the quality is on point. One of my go-to spots when I’m craving Greek food.

I ordered a simple cheeseburger combo with fries and drink. The cheeseburger was drenched in fry sauce on top and bottom bun. I’m not a big fan of the sauce so it threw me off a little. Other than that the burger was good. They weren’t shy with the fries, they were consistently thick and lightly seasoned. The customer service was good with little wait time. $11, worth it.

The workers were very kind and attentive. The food was excellent. I went for my birthday even though it’s not a full restaurant and they put tables together for my family and I to dine together. The food is always hot and fresh. The grill cook in the back is always seeming to be working hard. I really enjoy it here for being a fast dine restaurant.

Really clean and delicious Greek food here! Their staff are really help and will answer any questions. Plenty of seating AND, they have a drive through also! I KNOW!!! It’s so convenient, especially on snowy days, in Utah!

They’re perfect for family/catering orders too, because their portions are massive!

By far the best Gyro and fries in Utah. I’m not one to over eat but their fries are always cooked to golden perfection and their fry sauce has a little heat that you can’t get enough of. Their Gyro is loaded generously with meat, topped with onions, tomato, and cucumber and sauced perfectly.

Great souvlaki.

We have started coming fairly often and were just there in the drive through and our order was completely wrong. We had to get our side fixed at the window, and our meals were supposed to be only protein due to allergies but both meals had all veggies still included. The only time we’ve had our meal correct was through door dash… Disappointed we didn’t dig through the sauce to check for onions but we shouldn’t have to….

Edit- after 3 attempts to reach a manager about this we finally reached someone who was unable to give us a refund because it is nearly a week later, (we called Saturday, day of, Monday next open day, and today the next day we could). Offered us a free meal replacement instead. While we appreciate it it will be our last time visiting. Hopefully it will be our first time getting our order correct too

I ordered the chicken n pork plate w/ a side of lentil soup and I think I’m going to go nite nite now. The chicken was juicy n flavorful, the pork was okay, a bit dry to my liking. Lemon rice, fries and pita was on point and it hit the spot. The portions were generous and definitely can feed two.
