We ate dinner at the Applebees in the University Mall in Burlington. We ordered the oriental chicken salad and the fish & fries for our entrees and a small brownie with ice cream for dessert. The salad had too much filler of coleslaw cabbage and carrots. It needed a better bed of romaine lettuce. The fish was very heavily breaded. The brownie was warm and very good.

I went there with some of my dear friends. We showed up anticipating the half off apps starting at 9; turns out only a small number of the apps are actually half off, so we waited for nothing. not even the onion rings were half off, which is crazy IMO. Like I understand some of the apps were apart of other deal combos, which is understandable. but onion rings??????? that’s the definition of an appetizer and if you advertise half-off apps after 9, I would at least expect onion rings to make the list. If we had eyes and a brain, then we would have read the details of the promotion and known this but I do believe that this promotion is very misleading. The best part of my Applebee’s experience was the drinks. I don’t know what I ordered but it was very good. We also ordered both the snoop dogg drinks and neither of them came out the way they were supposed to. The first one was supposed to be pink, but came out green. It was supposed to be something peachy/pear/orange/cranberry with gin, but tasted like straight coconut and pineapple. Also, did I mention it was green. it also didn’t come with the temporary tattoo like the menu promised. very saddening for a drunk 21 year old girl who loves snoop dogg and temporary tattoos. We also ordered the other snoop dogg drink (named young, wild, & free) which was supposed to be gin with lemon and pineapple, and we got a straight up old fashioned. with so much lemon. and got charged an extra $3. for an old fashioned. Asked for a YOUNG WILD AND FREE and got an OLD FASHIONED. Ironic! again not mad, but imagine being a 21 year old who loves fruity alcohol and getting drunk at Applebee’s and instead of some fun fruity pink drink they walk out with straight up whiskey. jarring. if i wanted to taste that I would have drank my nail polish remover. I don’t even blame our waitress because she was wonderful. Also, the drink we ordered was supposed to be $7 and not only did we not get what we ordered, but we were charged $10.50 for an old fashioned we didn’t ask for. Not that pricing even matters at this point because I paid full price for my onion rings which weren’t really worth full price to begin with, but it IS Applebee’s so I feel like I can’t be disappointed with the quality. I am impressed with how badly they made tomato soup though, but again it paled in comparison to the drinks. Bad food can be made up for with good drinks, but I really just wished I got what I ordered

The food was good but took to many time to be served, do not come with fork and knife, we have to ask to the waitress, it was a steak. Another waitress said that all knives are washing…unbelievable!

First time at an Applebee’s. My partner finally stopped saying she wanted to go! The food was good, and the portion sizes were huge. The only downside was the service — it was a bit slow and felt off. The staff looked very tired.

Our go to place for eat that doesn’t cost much. Always consistent with the food. The service depends on the server that you get. Overall great experience. It does get pretty busy during lunch hour. If you don’t like waiting, go in as soon they open. Average wait was 20-30 minutes which is fine since you can walk around the mall while you wait.

I had a fantastic experience at Applebee’s! The dishes were delicious, and the staff provided prompt and attentive service. The reception team made us feel welcomed right away, and getting seated was smooth and hassle-free.
I also really appreciate their table-side self-checkout system — paying is simple and convenient. I definitely recommend visiting this place for a great meal and efficient service.

Wanted to go to IHOP for breakfast and they were closed. Drove 90 mins out of the way to get there so waited for Applebees to open for lunch.
Was initially a little worried as there was a weird carpet smell when we got in. However, the service was great and so was the food. Everything came quick and was perfectly cooked. Would definitely come back as the place filled up quite quickly and looked like there were quite a few regulars.

I had an amazing experience there because the fiesta lime chicken is to die for and my server, (Jericha,) is an amazing person and server who literally took care of me and catered my every request, and made sure I wasn’t missing anything and wasn’t thirsty and explained all the special’s in detail and all the good bundle deal’s. And it shows she really cares about ppl (her customer’s,) specifically. Thanks Jericha. I’ll definitely be bringing a friend very soon!

I had never been to an Applebee’s before but I was pleasantly surprised. Though some work could be done to make the experience a little better.
Service was a bit slow to start. There was a tablet on the table and it wasn’t clear if we were supposed to use that or wait for our waitress? We were seated with menus but still.. after fiddling around with the tablet and seeing that there aren’t any main courses…still left us with questions but it clarified that we need our waitress to order.
She arrived seemingly overwhelmed but still smiling she was nice and fun even after coming out of the dinner rush.
We ordered drinks and we all ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a smoked bourbon sauce I think. We had also ordered an entree that we never received ( and at least wasn’t billed for it so probably didn’t catch it or forgot about it while we were asking questions about specials).
The wait was a tad long. Starting noticing how having windows looking into the mall around half the restaurant was a bit much. I think our plates were ready for a bit before they were brought out because it should’ve been much warmer… But I was hungry and regardless… It was the best burger I had in a long time. Mouthwatering tasty. That cook yes!!!
