One of the best places to get gizzards at! Wish they had a location closer to me, but I still go there when I’m in town. Chicken is always well portioned and so juicy & flavorful. I definitely recommend them to any and everyone! Must try! The livers were okay, didn’t have the flavor I wanted, not sure why, but I still ate most of them for the iron. Fries always crispy & delicious! (Not pictured: chicken fingers & fries, onion rings & hush puppies) Didn’t try the chicken fingers but my kids said they were delicious and juicy, didn’t try onion rings but they were large and crunchy, said to be very good! The hush puppies were crispy on the outside, hot, flavorful and soft on the inside, not too dry either, very tasty!

I used to frequent this restaurant often. I moved from the area, so I haven’t visited in a year or so. I ordered through the app. When I arrived, the kid at the counter seemed unsure if my order was the one sitting half wrapped on the counter behind him. I asked because the pan looked pretty loaded for it to be a 20 piece whole wing order. He assured it was mine. After handing over my card, I look at the order, & it’s a bunch of thighs and drumsticks. I told him that’s not what I ordered and he calls another worker over. They advised me to wait, and they will remake my order. Mind you, I have other items. in the bag as well. So I oblige,even though I have my young children with me. I sat & waited 30 MINUTES. 30. The owner was present. I never got an apology, a remake of the rest of my things, not even an offer for a refill of my drink(which was gone after sitting & waiting). So not only did I have to wait way longer than expected, I had to reheat the cold fish and fries, macaroni and yams. Everything tasted disgusting, except for the wings. I was extremely disappointed to say the least & I will never return. The least I could’ve gotten was an apology. $52 down the drain. Never again.

If your going for gizzards they do not boil them first they are chewy and disappointing when the batter has good flavor. Also they coleslaw taste like it’s been put through food processor twice mush no crunch.

You’d think a place like this would be amazing. Unfortunately from my experience, it was very disappointing. The cheese sticks were not fried long enough, the mushrooms had no flavor, and worst of all… the chicken livers I ordered were bland and taste very strong. I love chicken livers, and these were just not that good. Overall disappointing experience.

I was there Two about 2 Hours ago I called my order in I was Done when I got there it was a pound of perch med fry or 21.00 I got the work I Asked the cashier for tartar sauce they said No I said just One for my pound of Fish the Boss said u heard her I will never go back they i don’t like to be treated any of kind of way I should of asked for my money back I would of felt better I love tartar sauce with my fish if he would have given One I would have more 25 cents a piece but because he wouldn’t give One it made me do this Head Up Grand Rapids Mi About that Encounter

I stopped in here and got some bluegill, if you enjoy fresh fish, this is the place to go The service was great and the owners willingness to explain the difference between The taste of freshwater and salt water fish was very helpful in future orders to come I will definitely go back and would highly recommend for those that enjoy fresh fish, over those franchise restaurants.

Wow! Everything we tried was great, deepfried mushrooms, hushpuppys, fries, ocean perch, and clams. Best clams I have had in years. Great batter. You can order as small as 1/4 lb so you can try many different things at once. They must have 30 different seasons.
They do charge .25 cents per sauce. However, the overall prices for food is less than other places.
Super eazy online ordering system. I did a take-away order but changed it to dine-in. They were very, very accommodating and I forgot to order a sause. I asked for some, telling them I am willing to pay, and the owner brought me what I needed and extra!! No charge. Order ahead, this place is busy.
