Have seen many different reviews for this restaurant. My personal experience has always been positive. It’s not a gourmet sit-down restaurant it’s take out Chinese food and very very good at what they do in my opinion. One of the greatest values to me is the shrimp egg foo young too large a portion and tons of shrimp so how could you complain about that! Just remember it is a takeout only Chinese restaurant with the traditional takeout only Chinese restaurant menu! Have been there many times and will continue to return

The menu online isn’t the actual price. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING!!! is 3 to 4 dollars more than the price on “THEIR” menu. Been coming here 20 years Tried to be friendly but it not their fault. We ordered the teriyaki and it was the worst teriyaki chicken I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few from different places that know how to make it obviously it was watered down, you get only get one side rice or mushrooms. The chicken did not look fresh and it looks like it would been bought and chunks and froze I will never go back and eat that or order that even again or anyting else and trust me I know my Asian food I have Asian in my family Chinese and the sauce was watered down I’ll be surprised if there’s any teriyaki sauce in it at all it was that bad pre-cooked chicken try that place on tunnel road in order to teriyaki Chicken it comes with mushrooms rice are mushrooms or carrots and with teriyaki chicken and tell me what you think the difference is

Possibly the worst Chinese food in Asheville. Nothing is fresh; the fried rice was so salty I couldn’t eat it, and the spring rolls were obviously frozen. You’ll get better Asian food at the Ingles across the street in the frozen food section. To top it off, the service not kind or thankful. I’ll never go back.

Outrageously overpriced for mediocre quality. The photos of the menu here are extremely old and no where near the current prices. I paid $40 for two plates and crab Rangoon that should have cost less than $30. They could get the Google photos changed if they wanted to, but I think they’re okay baiting and switching.

I have been eating here since they opened. This family worked 7 days a week for years. They have always been friendly to me and know me by name.Busy filling orders does not equal rude. I do not agree the place is dirty. It is an open kitchen that cooks with oil so there is going to be grease. I have been in enough restaurant kitchens to know what dirty is. They do good food fast. I have seen the owner at Ingles buying chicken when she runs out so the quality is as good whatever Ingles is carrying.

Make sure to ask what your total will be if you call in for a pick up order. We were charged $12 more than the menu stated then when confronted about it, the woman working tells you you’re wrong and that you need to study the menu. Horrible service.

I love this place, I have ate from there multiple times. Great lunch specials and you get plenty for the price. It’s a take out restaurant, they are fast and polite. Plenty of parking and it’s free. Sometimes the vegetables are under cooked but that’s just my taste.
